Hi!
So I’m going to try being back. Anyone I had a thread with, I’ll message to see if you want to continue.
PSA;
I know I’ve been quiet for a few days, and I’ll probably be quiet for a few more days. I’m working extra hours at work, plus school is started, and I’ve been having bad reactions to this medication I’m taking, AND my organs are still aching.
So until two of those four things are taken care off, I’ll be quiet here.
“Umm, can I please get word in? I thought I talked a lot.”
“What? Oh fuck sorry. It’s these painkillers, man, they make shit fun.”
“Not as fun as morphine but controlled substances, yo.”
((Trying to work on my replies but my muse is a trash ho and doesn’t want to do anything that isn’t trashy.))

Jojo smiled again; she couldn’t help but notice how he looked her over. Jojo hoped he was thinking the same thing she was, but god how horrible would it be if she was wrong? She sat down across from Kevin, crossing her legs as she sat. “I’ll be sure to let you know. I’m actually pretty free over the next few weeks, if you need me here more?”
Kevin continued to run his eyes up and down over her, checking out that body that was hiding behind the clothes, that were constantly getting shorter and shorter. “Well, I might need you more, that’s for sure. I think work’s going to be piling up and to be honest, when you’re not around, Lily’s always asking for you anyway.”
“Well, I wouldn’t want to keep Lily waiting,” Jojo chuckled, leaning forward as she took another sip. “Try not to work too hard, now. You need to blow off steam somehow.” She finished the contents of her glass rather quickly. “Oh my- that’s strong.”

((Lmao I started a new medication and like immediately got side effects. I’ve got school all day and work until late late so I might work on drafts a bit during the day and add graphics before I go to bed tonight.))
Well that certainly got a reaction. Sam would be lying if he said he hadn’t put even a little effort into getting a reaction from her, but not quite this. He stood up as soon as she got off of him, but didn’t say anything else. Shit, Kylan seemed like she was about to break. He found himself nervously running his hands through his hair as a few loose strands escaped his sloppy ponytail and fell in his face. This side of her seemed so new and fragile, like someone handed him a rescue puppy. And Sam had no idea how to care for puppies. “Kylan, I can’t give you the… maintenance you need.” Feelings. His favorite subject. “I just can’t, okay? And honestly, I don’t want to. You could probably find any other guy in the world, why are you clinging to me? Go start on those seven damn years.” Anger still tinted his voice. He didn’t want to be angry, especially if they were starting to have a normal breakup.
Kylan clenched her eyes shut tight as more tears began to fall down her cheeks in response to the words Sam spoke. She knew that she was clinging onto false hope of this ever working out, but she hoped and prayed that it would because she couldn’t see her life without him, no matter how horrible they were to each other. Kylan took a deep breath as she wiped some tears off her cheeks before glancing up at him. “I don’t need maintenance, Sam. I’m not a fucking machine that you can just put together and leave for months on end. I’m a human being who is in love with someone who doesn’t care about me,” she confessed as she widened her eyes before quickly turning herself around; too afraid to see his reaction. “At the looks of it, I guess I’m going to have too,” Kylan whispered as she parted her lips slightly while she tried to refrain from breaking down in front of the male. “The thing is though is that I don’t want any other guy because I’ve always wanted you,” she shrugged as she continued standing with her back to him. “If you want to leave though, you can. I know I can’t stop you from doing so,” Kylan added somberly.
The relationship had been anything but perfect. They both knew that. Ideally, Sam wanted a girl who was independent and barely needed him. That girl was definitely not Kylan, but... She said she loved him. Sam froze in place, his face blank. She said she loved him. All the anger in him faded and it turned into a weight that crushed his chest. “You’re not... you’re not just saying that.” It wasn’t a question; he had a talent for reading people, and this didn’t seem fake. “You... I...” For once in his life, chatty Sam fell speechless. Sweat beaded on his forehead and despite his heavy breathing, he felt as if drowning. He fell back down onto the chair, sighing into his hands. Why was this bothering him so much? It was just a stupid word. “I... I need air-” Sam stood back up and started towards the door. “We’ll talk lat-later!” He needed to go on a run. Lift something. Spar someone. Do anything to distract himself.
Fuck- Sam knew what was happening. Kylan could paint herself like the best god damned victim on the planet. He clenched his jaw, feeling himself starting to get worked up. Normally whenever this happened, Sam snuck off to the gym for a workout. Now he could easily stand up and walk out like Kylan wasn’t even a weight on his lap.
“How perceptive, I do think low of you,” he growled, flicking his head away from her. “I’ll admit, you have a nice ass. But not that nice, girlie.” Carefully, Sam placed his hand on her chest, his pointer finger right between her collarbone. The pressure point there was an effective one, Sam knew that from experience. “I suggest you get off of me before I make you. For once in your pathetic life, play nice.”
The words stung more than anything to Kylan, but she didn’t allow her little facade to falter any. Her chocolate hues gazed at Sam as a small gasp fluttered past her lips at the feeling that his finger brought between her collarbone. She swallowed hard as she tried not to let his angry demeanor get to her, but it was slowly deteriorating the wall she had built up. Kylan knew that she was pathetic, but to have it be said out loud was enough to send her over the edge. “I always play fucking nice, Sam!” she spat as she got up from his lap as she ran her fingers through her hair, gripping the strands tightly. “I’ve tried so many fucking times with you, but it’s like I have to play fucking dirty in order for you to even take a second look at me,” Kylan retorted as her chest rose and fell rapidly while she tried to calm herself down. She didn’t want to have another episode as she immediately turned away from him, wiping away the lone tear that had fallen before taking a deep breath. Moments ago Kylan was the strongest woman she perceived herself to be, but with only a few words, that perception had been tainted and now she was the small, fragile girl she had always been. “I just wanted you to like me,” she whispered as she wrapped her arms around her chest.
“Kylan, I can’t give you the... maintenance you need.” Feelings.
“All the shit I put you through,” Sam repeated, rolling his hazel eyes. “Right. All of it was my fault.” He didn’t like how close she was getting. Part of him wanted to push her away, but he knew that as a big, dark-skinned man with an accent and facial scars, shoving a pretty little white girl around would end badly on his part. Instead, he hid a scowl with a smirk, not giving her the satisfaction of knowing she got under his skin. The ‘evil ways’ comment made him chuckle. “You sure are good at telling yourself what you want to hear. And seven years is a long time. I’m sure you’ll be changing your mind in a week.” Not like he had any intention of taking her back; Kylan clearly wanted a higher maintenance relationship than he could tolerate. Perhaps if she hadn’t pissed him off so much, Sam would be letting go with more grace.
Kylan sauntered around the chair as her chocolate hues gazed intensely down at him before pouting her lower lip slightly. “I never said it was all your fault, Sam. I take full responsibility for the shit I put you through, but we all know that I put up with more,” she responded as she flipped her hair off her shoulder and ran her fingers up his thigh slowly before allowing a light laugh to escape her pretty pink lips. “You think so low of me, dear Sam,” Kylan stated as she placed herself onto his lap before trailing the pad of her thumb against his lower lip before flicking her gaze up to meet his. “You’re going to miss me,” she whispered as she gripped his jaw slightly before biting down onto her lesser lip as she allowed her gaze to travel over his facial features. Kylan knew that she was fucked up, been told her entire life, but that was the only thing she knew how to be. She was a ticking time bomb that wanted love and care but grew angry when she didn’t receive enough. Kylan truly adored Sam, but her twisted ways of evil game playing made her true intentions be coated with pure manipulation instead.

I WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU GUYS SO MESSAGE ME YOUR NAME AND SOMETHING ABOUT YOU
Jojo had taking a job as a dog-walker for one of her neighbors and of course it was a giant dog that ran off. However when she looked down an alley, she saw a horrifying scene. “Wh-what…” She froze in place, breaking into a cold sweat. “What have you done?!”
She lifted a hand–a seemingly helpless gesture. “Only what I had to do.”
She came at her, with a rush of speed. She halted before her, fangs out. She stared at the other woman. “You didn’t see anything. Got it?”
The woman’s speed startled her and Jojo stumbled back. She yelped and sparks began to jump from her body, leaving small burns on her skin. “L-leave me alone!”

She was covered in blood–someone else’s blood–in the middle of some back alley. A body lay only a few feet from her. It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out what happened here. And yet, the only thing she could think to say upon being spotted was, “It’s not what it looks like.”
Jojo had taking a job as a dog-walker for one of her neighbors and of course it was a giant dog that ran off. However when she looked down an alley, she saw a horrifying scene. “Wh-what...” She froze in place, breaking into a cold sweat. “What have you done?!”

”It’s my pleasure, really.” Jojo took the glass and took a sip. She tried to hold in a face as as the strength of the drink overwhelmed her for a moment. “Ah-! It’s really good, thanks.” Jojo shifted for a moment, her hips swaying a bit in her flowing, short skirt. “I wouldn’t mind hanging out. I don’t have anywhere else to be tonight.”
“Well make yourself at home then.” He smiled, his eyes practically undressing her as they ran up and down her body, checking her out. “Well, let me know if I can get anything for you. So what are you going to up to in the next few weeks?”
Jojo smiled again; she couldn’t help but notice how he looked her over. Jojo hoped he was thinking the same thing she was, but god how horrible would it be if she was wrong? “Oh don’t worry about it!” Jojo replied with a smile. “She was such an angel tonight.” Honestly, Jojo had just needed a hobby; spending every day at home and watching TV was getting depressing. When she saw an ad for a babysitter, she jumped at the chance. Of course, she may have tried a little harder to get the job when she saw how handsome the kid’s father was. That may or may not have had an effect on how she dressed for the job. “I’d love a drink, actually.”
“Well, you’re so good with her, it’s a good thing. Thank you for making things so easy for me.” He chuckled, pouring two glasses of whiskey and handing one of them to her, settling back down in his office chair, his eyes practically undressing her. “Well you can sit here and chill if you want, I don’t mind. I’m not paying you though.” He quipped, laughing.

This was a stupid idea.
It started in the dingy corner of a used book store. Jojo had been looking for cookbooks, but someone had misplaced an old spellbook. Her kneejerk reaction had been to not give it a second thought, but then again she was a walking tesla coil; who was she to judge? Then as she walked home, Jojo couldn’t shake the feeling that someone stalked her the whole time. Best case scenario, some Chester Molester got bored trying to follow her around and left; worst case scenario, someone knew who she was and found her.
Either way, Jojo didn’t like the feeling, and with her boyfriend gone for the next three weeks, there wasn’t much she could do. In that old spell book, she found a ritual to summon a guardian of sorts. Jojo doubted it would work, but the placebo effect could be comforting.
Back in her apartment, she followed the ritual exactly, and found herself standing before an intricate circle of candles. Now for the last step: a drop of blood from the person who would be protected. With her sharpest kitchen knife, Jojo pricked her finger and held it over the center of the circle. As soon as the first drop hit the floor, the lights began to flicker. Jojo froze, her eyes darting around the room.
For once, this power surge wasn’t her.
Whoever decided it was a good idea to put the power to summon demons and hounds in the hands of humans was an idiot. He got it—he understood. It was away to bind them to the underworld and send their soul to the pits. But really, what was wrong with just going up and making a deal instead of being summoned like he was on a leash.
“If this is a slumber party bitch fest, I swear I will just kill you all and leave,” he muttered under his breath as he stood. A scorch mark was on the carpet under his feet from where he landed.
Jojo covered her eyes as a bright light briefly engulfed the room. When she uncovered her eyes and saw someone actually standing there, Jojo screamed.
“What the fuck?!” Frantically, she tried to back away but promptly crashed into the couch and stumbled down. Upon impact, a few sparks flew out from her skin, leaving small scorches on her skin and on the couch. “You.... what...” All other words got caught in her throat as she regretted every life choice ever.
