NEW FISH JUST DROPPED
Trainspotting
I love and hate bouldering at the same time. My friend took this of me trying a crossover start that didnât do much for me lol
I just looked this up and it turned out it was about a production of âcat on a hot tin roofâ, a play which famously features a closeted gay lead character. a member of the audience was catcalling female actresses and shouting homophobic abuse when actor john lacy, who played the character big daddy, paused his performance and called him out. the heckler replied âwhat are you going to do about it?â to which lacy responded by leaping down into the audience and knocking him to the ground.
#its what tennessee williams would have wanted
ah yes the five love languages
- making a cup of tea just how they like it
- peeling a tangerine and sharing the slices
- buying their favourite snack or drink when you see it randomly while shopping
- making a warm meal and serving it in bed when theyâre sick
- cutting up slices of fruit for them

somebody tell me wtf this is
@magnumpicactus the sand is on top of really hot coal and is pretty much boiling. The dude is dragging the pot of coffee on it to boil it. Its a traditional turkish way to make turkish coffee and its really good.
i love seeing the amazingly unique, traditional ways different cultures have of achieving the same thing.
My favorite catholic lore is that anyone can make holy water in a pinch but the church puts dumb restrictions on us like âdo this only if someone needs their last ritesâ like I WILL bless this McDonaldâs sprite and I WILL enjoy the crispiness of our lord and savior
Another bit is that holy water cannot be diluted. When I went to the Vatican the tour guide was explaining this, if you put any amount of holy water into any amount of normal water, the whole bunch becomes holy. This is how they sell Pope Holy Water in the gift shop. This is how Iâve been drinking only holy water for two months now. I am immune to demons.
Homeopathic holy
Itâs not actually any amount of holy water- according to the Church, the water has to be more than half holy water by volume. So if you take a half gallon+a few drops of holy water and a half gallon of secular water, you get one gallon of holy water, plus a few drops. You can then add a gallon of secular water to that and then you have two gallons of holy water. Weâve got a couple jugs of Pope Water in the linen closet at my parentsâ house, because my mom used the heck out of this loophole after a trip to Italy in 2008. It was more than a decade ago at this point and we still have Pope Water. We no longer have that Pope, but by god do we have his water.
Hereâs what a jug of Pope water looks like. Mom measured a fill line on them so that we never accidentally run out and just have old jugs of secular water lying around.
Heresy.
Never said he was, heâs an object of worship like gamer girls for some people

âcritics hated it but straight audiences loved itâ and âcritics hated it but gay audiences loved itâ are completely opposite genres

humans can be pretty awesome if given the freedom to be great even if there is no material reward
So exciting!
âAnd that quote, âThe only disability in life is a bad attitude,â the reason that thatâs bullshit is because itâs just not true.â - Stella Young
[IDs: Screenshots from the late, great, Stella Youngâs TED Talk: Iâm Not Your Inspiration, Thank You Very Much. Stella is a wheelchair-user sitting up on the stage in front of a massive crowd. In these screenshots, sheâs saying, âNo amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never. (Laughter. Applause.) Smiling at a television screen isnât going to make closed captions appear for people. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positive attitude is going to turn all those books into braille.]
I use this speech and the underlying theories a lot in my PhD, but Stella Young honestly had one of those voices that needs to be heard by everyone, so I figured Iâd post my favorite part of the speech here. If anyone remembers that time I threw myself onto the floor For The Vine, youâll know that I also hate the quote:Â âThe only disability in life is a bad attitudeâ. Stella just conveyed the message with less pain.

One of many amazing archery experiences that really sticks out to me as something special, was a few years back when me and my buddy @grahamhandley headed out to the forest for a bit stumping really early one frosty January morning!
