St. Therese is a relatable saint who focuses on completed acceptance of God's Will and dependence on His grace. Young Therese would pull a bead when she postponed a treat, or let someone have their way. In my person experience, when worn as a bracelet, the crucifix would often pull on my knitting (a travesty, I assure you), catch on my on my sweaters, and just generally be inconvenient.
