one of my favorite lotr facts is that gondorians speak sindarin as a first language and yet when faramir was talking to frodo and sam about cirith ungol he was like “we don’t know what’s in there.” like faramir. cirith ungol is sindarin for “pass of the spider.” do the math

Nikkie de Jager wears a dress paying tribute to Marsha P Johnson

The 'P' in Johnson's name stood for 'Pay It No Mind', which can be seen embroidered on the ribbon. The flower crown references the most well-known photograph of this transgender icon.

For those who don’t know the backstory, Nikkie is a beauty vlogger who came out as trans in 2020, when she shared that someone was trying to blackmail her and threatening to out her.

A trans woman paying homage to a trans woman activist who was at Stonewall? Yeah, that hits right in the feels.
