I am NOT a shipper. Let's make that crystal clear. Cait is married to Tony and Sam is dating Stephanie. PERIOD.

However, you can't tell me that in the beginning, it didn't EVER happen. I personally find that hard to believe. They are both human beings with red blood that runs hot. They were BOTH SINGLE in the beginning as far as I know and I am willing to wager more then once, Sam had to strap that thing down. Sam was very OBVIOUSLY attracted to Cait as well. He might as well have written it in sharpie on his face for Godsakes.

I believe it happened, once, maybe even twice and then they both mutually decided for the sake of the series best not. Or maybe it happened once while a bit of whiskey was consumed. I know they both said they watched the wedding scene together and whiskey was involved..... I believe there was a lil roll in the hay. If not in am intoxicated state, possibly because feelings can sometimes get confused between real life and characters. I mean they're human beings afterall and you can clearly see in early photo shoots were Cait is caressing Sam's shoulder and playing with his shirt and hair and Sam places his hands in the wrong place more then once.

I do however firmly believe that they do 100% love each other ans would.do anything for the other. You can be someone's soulmate, but on a platonic level. It doesn't have to be romantic. I think that romantically it did not work for them for whatever reasons, but they agreed mutually to ALWAYS care about the other and have each other's backs on set, and I have seen interviews where Sam gets protective of Cait ans I havw seen Cait go Mama Bear over Sam and some inappropriate questions he was asked. They will forever care for each other how could you not?

So do they love each other? 100% Absolutely.

It just doesn't fly romantically. AND THAT SHIPPERS is OK.

really… baffled as to what this is supposed to mean. like it’s basically “well-behaved women seldom make history.” meanwhile sense & sensibility is the story of one sister who behaves herself and one who follows her heart, and the one who follows her heart is nearly destroyed by a bad man and the one who behaves herself is rewarded with the romantic happy ending. it’s like… the opposite of what that tagline suggests

(I’m aware I’m oversimplifying the plot of s&s and that marianne ends up with a nice man in the end. he’s just not the one her heart desired)

I mean, even the well-behaved Elinor suffers a lot, so I guess maybe if I squint I can see the logic? But that's not the message. Elinor wouldn't have suffered less if she misbehaved.

right! and the lesson at the end is for marianne. “oh I should have behaved more like you and taken it slow and not shown my emotions to the world.” and unlike in p&p where both protagonists learn from each other, elinor doesn’t say “oh and i should have behaved a little more like you and told edward my feelings and run around the countryside with him!” cause actually all that would have done was add public humiliation onto her private heartbreak.

and like, you know who else doesn’t concern themselves with appearing agreeable? THE FREAKING ELIZAS!! and they’re both utterly destroyed.

I would just like them both to be left alone in peace to be happy with their bairns and stop having to live this awful lie their surrounded in. I’m not very technically minded for this sort of thing on my phone. I think they’ve been forced by the men at the top for these stupid lies to get really out of hand now. But why . At the end of the day they’ve brought the brilliant Diana Gabaldon books to life. They’ve brought a fantastic show to our screens and collected millions of very happy fans. They’ve become the best ever couple on our screens,and we watched Sam and Cait fall in love in real life . What’s the problem. Why weren’t they allowed.? But anyway they’ve worked hard, worked long hours in some awful weather ect and yet they don’t get the awards they deserve, it’s so unfair. They deserve to live a happy life as a family bless them. Good luck in everything you do next and keep your heads held high. People will understand when the truth comes out why yous did what yous had to do and get rid of the PR team yous were provided with .my very best love and best wishes ❤️❤️
