Maekar is half Targ and half Martell, he would be such a whiny little brat in the north.

Moaning and groaning about how the cold makes his bones ache and his skin crack. He’s bundled under the thickest wools and furs money can buy and still demanding more logs be added to the fire every five minutes.

His pouty face is made almost endearing by his bright red cheeks and nose.

The last time he visited the north he was three years old. Baelor had tried to convince him to go play in the snow with Rhaegal and the northern lordlings, but baby Maekar wasn’t having any of it, kicking and crying because he was cold and wet, and he wanted to go home now.
