Welcome to a celebration of all things fray whether fraysexual or frayromantic or both! The mod for this tumblr is frayromantic and allosexual.

Purpose

This tumblr was inspired by aro-culture-is and ace-culture-is and is open to any sfw fraysexual and frayromantic content from those with lived experiences or questioning.

Fraysexual: an asexual spectrum sexual orientation where sexual attraction is lost after you develop an emotional bond with the person (the opposite of demisexual)

Frayromantic: the romantic counterpart to fraysexual

Frayromantic culture is battling codependency by avoiding starting any relationship until the romantic feelings have stopped. And setting boundaries with my partner, so they understand the types of romantic gestures that enable my codependent personality.

Hey nonnies, it’s okay to feel fray- differently. The fray definition is romantic and/ or sexual attraction (depending on whether frayromantic, fraysexual, or both) is lost after you develop an emotional bond with the person (the opposite of demi).

Some Frays still feel platonic love and tertiary attractions after losing romantic and/or sexual attraction. And some Frays don’t.

As with any sexual or romantic identity it’s meant to be descriptive and not prescriptive.
