Hōkūlani Ke ahi ‘Āina

This (a sketch I made in about 6 minutes) Hōkūlani ke ahi ‘Āina. some lore on him is: He is from the (for now a small village from the shaftlands(not the same as Jack and Vill)) based off of Te Fiti/Te Ka from “Moana” his signature spell: Crumbling Island (get it! Cause when Maui stole the heart and stuff) which turns nearby objects into flames dorm: pomifiore. here’s a colored version of him

For context I was Reading Vingets for Jack(his regular SSR card) with @tiredrandomwhyme and when they were groovifying the card the said “from baddie to brother” (cause in the last part of the vingets Jack asks Ruggie to take him under his wing as an older brother). They thought that Baddie ment like a thug or something and we thought it would have been really funny if Jack dressed like that and I had an unforeseen amount of free time and made this beautiful creature

Please read this because it is EXTREMELY important me (a transgender man) and to other trans individuals.

The US Government is currently trying to pass an incredibly dangerous national law for trans youth called HR 2616.

This bill would ban all Federally funded schools from teaching about gender identity or sexual orientation, prevent teachers from using the correct pronouns and names for trans students, remove books with any trans representation in them, and even go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging trans identity AT ALL.

Any school that does not follow this will lose all federal funding. This bill would also require teachers to forcibly out trans students to their families, which would be fatal to any trans student with a transphobic Family or just hateful family in general. Trans people are already a group that already has some of the highest rates of being victim to suicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Why does this matter?

AI is STEALING our creative process, it’s eliminating the human magic and imagination behind projects. It’s making people lazy… so to fight back against the game’s usage of AI I’ve created a plan. We use THEIR character they made using AI and make him better- we draw him with our own hands, our own godly talent sand skillset we were born with, that we learned, that we have learned to perfect over copious amounts of time and energy. We are astronomically better than anything generative AI can spit out, we are HUMANS, we are the superior life forms upon this planet we call home. We are the ones, the living beings who call the shots, who use their incredible brains to go the distance and change lives.

The goal…

We are going to do a creative project, a collaborative project, we are going to need artists AND writers to bring forth your finest creative skills and show the world that WE are the superstars here, that WE are the powerhouses. We don’t need a bloody machine to make “art”, we have the emotions, the hands, the brain, and by gods we have the imagination.

What we will do is simple. Artists, you will draw the character in your own style, writers, you’ll write something- anything- a short story, anything! Give him a name, give him a whole backstory and have fun!
