would it be ok if i dropped the first half of my skyrim character Sha'alet's journal rn oh it would ok great here ⤵️
First Entry
Morndas, 18th of Last Seed.
I was captured attempting to cross the border from Cyrodiil into Skyrim. What I remember is trying to outrun the guards, a jolt of pain from somewhere on my lower back, my joints locking up, falling face-first to the ground, and a dull thud in the back of my skull. When I woke up I was on a wagon in Skyrim, all of my equipment and belongings gone, my cloak replaced with rags. All that was left of my belongings were the hoops in my ears.
They didn’t have much use for a runaway Khajiit. I was to be executed in Helgen with all the other prisoners, ordered by the Imperial Captain.
I was dully surprised by how little I felt as I knelt before the chopping block. I’d spent the last half of my life on the run. Now I was faced with the fate of those who run. I’d accepted it as mine long ago.
However, my execution was interrupted by a huge black dragon. I found out from a woman named “Ger-der” that dragons have only recently been appearing in Skyrim. She's the sister of “Ral-off,” who led me through the tunnels underneath Helgen and away from the dragon. The dragon shot jets of fire that made the desecrated town smell intensely of rotted eggs, and he let out a screech that made a sharp pressure against one’s eardrums and a blast of pure force that sent buildings crumbling. The screech almost felt familiar. It was strange (though these strange feelings could be attributed to a probable concussion from being knocked unconscious, nothing a strong potion can’t fix).
Now I am off to the city of Whiterun, where I shall be informing the “Yarl” of the dragon attack in Helgen so he may send soldiers to Riverwood.

Second Entry
Middas, 20th of Last Seed
The Whiterun guards said I’m a “Dragonborn.” I have dragon blood. I helped some guards and a Dunmer kill a dragon. Shortly after it fell, it began to disintegrate (?) and a light surrounded me. I felt another sense of familiarity.
Earlier I had gone through Bleak Falls Barrow to retrieve a stone tablet for the Jarl’s Mage, Farengar Secret-Fire. In the dungeon I found a half-circle of ruins covered in runelike symbols. When I approached, I noticed some of these symbols glowing.
I touched the wall and felt a sort of ancient knowledge come into my mind. However, I couldn’t use the knowledge until after I had killed the dragon and, as the guards say, “absorbed its soul.” I learned something the guards called a “Shout,” which seemed to prove to the guards that I really am the Dragonborn.
Now I’m off to inform the Jarl of the dragon’s death. If we can kill one, we can kill them all.
(Note: I learned that I misspelled some words in my last entry and have since learned how to spell them)

Third Entry
Morndas, 25th of Last Seed.
I was appointed “Thane” of Whiterun by Jarl Balgruuf and cleared out a bandit camp situated in the ruins of Helgen.
In my last entry I failed to mention the wild horse I tamed, Aura. I rode Aura down some paths to discover more of Skyrim.
I’ve been hearing copious talk of “Stormcloaks” and “Imperials.” Previously unknown to me was that the war in Skyrim was between the Nord Stormcloak rebellion and the Imperial Empire. I’ve been asked to pick sides many times. At the moment I’ll stay an observer.
Once again I nearly forgot to write the next part of my journey. When I entered Whiterun after killing the dragon, I was assaulted by a booming voice shouting something akin to “do-va-keen” (which sounded similar to the sound the dragon made before keeling over). I shrugged it off at the time and continued on my way to inform the Jarl of the dragon’s death. He told me that the voice I heard was the “Greybeards” and that I should climb a couple thousand steps to the top of a cold mountain to speak with them. Thrilling.

Fourth Entry
Tirdas, 26th of Last Seed.
I have accidentally joined the College of Winterhold. I personally have little interest in magic other than restorative magic. This college seems focused on “destructive” magic, though so far I have learned the spell “Healing Hands” and a ward spell, which I hope to utilize throughout my journeys in Skyrim.
I ended up in Winterhold when I curiously walked up to a coachman in an attempt to learn more about it. He asked me where I wanted to go. I, not knowing many cities in Skyrim, stared back in confusion. He listed some cities and I chose at random. The city itself was lackluster (and cold, though I admit I should’ve gleaned that from the name), however the imposing college building immediately caught my attention. The Dunmer woman standing in front of the entrance confronted me and offered to teach me the spell “Healing Hands,” and the rest is history.
I acknowledge the fact that the Greybeards are expecting me, however I think it wise to familiarize myself with the continent of Skyrim so I can focus entirely on my duties as Dragonborn.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Fifth Entry
Turdas, 28th of Last Seed.
I am now a member of the Bards College in Solitude. The head bard, Viarmo, sent me on a mission to retrieve an old poem about a man named King Olaf so he may recite it to the Jarl. He planned on using it to convince her to allow the burning of King Olaf’s effigy again. It worked, and I was inducted. Viarmo told me that my fellow members plan on using me as the college’s errand boy for my hard work. According to Viarmo, I’m apparently popular in the city of Solitude.
I’m beginning to make my way in this new continent and have earned 2,500 gold, not including the spoils of recent dungeons I’ve explored.
I’m now on my way to the Greybeards, not before resting and refilling some supplies. A good night’s sleep is oddly rare in this new continent.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Sixth Entry
Tirdas, 2nd of Heartfire.
Whilst in the courtyard of the Winterhold College a dragon attacked and was subsequently felled. I have some singed fur, but no lasting injuries that couldn’t be fixed with a few potions.
I had been storing some treasures I’ve gained throughout my journeys in my new room. I don’t believe anybody will read my journal while I still live so I’ll go out and say that I’ve regained my old habit of thievery. Though I’m more stable than I have ever been, I feel I can’t help this habit. I have been working on stifling urges however and primarily stealing items I will find useful throughout my journey (though I must admit I’ve stolen some items purely for their monetary value).
I wrote in my previous entry that I planned on going straight to the Greybeards after resupplying and resting, though I must admit I’d spent more time in Solitude than expected and found myself overrun with (stolen) equipment and useless goods. I’m sure this excuse would work little with Jarl Balgruuf, so I will be departing to the Greybeards’ temple posthaste.
Yet another thing I forgot to mention. Whilst helping an elderly beggar find his old scouting helmet, I came across yet another circle of ruins with glowing runes. I felt myself gain more ancient knowledge (it has now come to my understanding that the knowledge is of new Shouts) yet again. Now that I’ve absorbed another dragon soul, I’ll be able to use this Shout.
I initially planned on this entry being much briefer, however it has now become my longest. I plan on my next entry to be on my conversation with the Greybeards.
Seeing as this entry is already my longest I might as well add that I’ve been improving my archery. I find that if I hold my breath I’m able to focus better on my target. Let any fellow archers reading this take note (ha).
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Seventh Entry
Middas, 3rd of Heartfire.
So far I’ve had to travel halfway across Skyrim.
This is later on in the day. I’m closer to Ivarstead now (which is the town next to the Greybeard’s mountain) and had to stop to write down how beautiful this part of Skyrim is. The white-barked trees are sparse and have golden yellow leaves that shimmer in the warm breeze. I wonder how much time I will have to spend here before the next part of my quest.
Minutes later and I have now befriended a rabbit named Thistle. It was sitting in the garden of an alchemist’s shack. I read the alchemist’s journal and found that Thistle could be tamed by feeding it a carrot. I presume that the alchemist who previously owned the shack and Thistle is dead.
Aura and I were chased by a bear and nearly killed. Thankfully we were right by Ivarstead and lost her. I am now in Ivarstead and on my way to the mountain.
I am writing this as I walk away from a madman named “Narfy” (?) who spoke of a missing person named “Ray-da” (?). I may investigate this further after I speak with the Greybeards.
A Nord was speaking with a Bosmer about being unable to make a delivery to the Greybeards. I asked him about it and he said his legs “aren’t what they used to be” and that he couldn’t make the journey to deliver some preserved food to them. I offered to bring it for him. I now begin my trek up the 7,000 steps. I left Aura at the bottom, as she doesn’t do well with stairs. I must admit the mountain is imposing.
I am taking a short rest after being poisoned by a giant frost spider. I was unaware of the spiders on this mountain. I should be fine in a minute or so but will continue moving. I don’t believe a potion is necessary at the moment, and I’m sure it’d be a good idea to hold onto potions for the future. I now continue my journey.
I was attacked by a snow wolf and only just remembered I have healing magic. I’m sure it’ll come in handy as I continue.
I was just charged by a large hairy three-eyed monster. Luckily I killed it before it reached me. I’ve never seen the likes of it before. It’s becoming increasingly cold and the air increasingly thin, and I find myself having to stop and catch my breath more often as I go on. I continue with caution.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Eighth Entry
Middas, 3rd of Heartfire.
I arrived without any other trouble to the Greybeard’s Monastery. I learned that the shouts are in dragon language, that I can absorb a slain dragon’s knowledge to learn words, and that shouts (or Thu’ums) can have multiple parts. I learned the second parts of the two Thu’ums I already know. Greybeard Arngeir said I displayed masterful ability. Now I am off to retrieve the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller for Greybeard Arngeir, my final trial to prove my worth.
I tried to gain more information on what it means to be the dragonborn. Greybeard Arngeir said it was for me to discover. It was clear that he wouldn’t give me more information than that.
I was attacked by cultists with orders to kill me, claiming I’m the “false dragonborn.” They’re from Solsthiem. For now I’ll focus on my quest here in Skyrim.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Ninth Entry
Fredas, 5th of Heartfire.
I went through the dungeon Greybeard Arngeir said the Horn of Jurgen was in. Turns out somebody who claimed to be “a friend” got to the horn before me. They said to meet with them in the attic room at the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood. I’m very tired, staying at the Inn doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
I also learned a new Thu’um, which I’ll be able to use once I kill another dragon.
I might’ve started listening to The Legends of Avantris can you guess who my favorite character is
