Also being scared that your diploma will devalue is a real and valid fear!!!

My degree was on the cutting edge when I was getting it. HUNDREDS of jobs available in pretty much every type of company. "Digital media specialist" was something everyone wanted and needed.

And then I graduated in 2020 when there were no jobs for anyone, even digital ones were hard to come by. And then the AI boom happened and now no one wants to pay a human to do this stuff for them when they can get an unpaid intern grunt to run shit through AI and then rinse and repeat.

My degree has been devalued and it's why I am unemployed. It's something that is valid to fear.
