Boiling HOT take: the sexualization of Carl Grimes is so weird considering most searches state that he died at 14-16 years old. I have seen bots with some fucking bullshit like “preg w/his baby” or just smut in general, and don’t even get me started on the “spicy” head-cannons of him or the smutty fanfiction/tumblr shortfics. It’s a double standard considering that most of the teens in shows you’ll see around his age will not be sexualized whatsoever + would jump you as soon as you said anything, but when it comes to Carl everyone is agreeing.

Hot take: If you’re older than Carl grimes by two years(17), or even 18 — you shouldn’t have a crush on him and i WILL be calling you a pedophile.

If I hear someone bitching at me saying “you should be grateful about these shortfics!! people are writing this and putting their talent on here so you can read for free!!” by YOUR logic, the sexualization of characters that are teens (Ben Boyd, Bully/CCE characters, Deltarune characters etc) is okay aswell. The excuse that he is “aged up” in these fics isn’t a good excuse either because in the show HE is a teenager, he DIES a teenager, he doesn’t get to grow up in the SHOW.
