“Well, then you’re lucky you’re only here for celebrations,” Brendon taunted as if all-knowing.
“What would you know about that history, really?” Ryan let Brendon open his mouth only to interrupt him as he began to speak, mirroring Brendon’s rudeness from earlier back at him,
“Prince Ryan of Rossane. Against Man in Blue who is Too Prideful to Ever Apologize When He Fucks Up ?” But Brendon only smiled like he had something over Ryan that was lost on him.
“Good thing I’m more than just that.” He looks Ryan squarely in the eye as they bow to each other to finish the dance, “I’m Prince Brendon of Uranus. A pleasure.”
Ryan’s eyes went big, and he quickly composed himself to cover it up. Ryan hadn’t realized that he had been dancing with his soon-to-be alpha and future king in wedlock.
“Fuck,” Ryan cursed softly.
Without hesitation, Queen Grace took it upon herself to rise in front of her throne.
“We have taken it upon ourselves to appoint Brendon as not only the new leader of our palace, but of our people as well. He is to be betrothed to Prince Ryan of the Rossane Kingdom, settling twenty-six long years of war and conflict. With this marriage, we have finally decided to settle our differences.”
