Lucy was so ashamed of herself, she sat far from her fellow Hufflepuff’s at Dinner that day. She kept her held down low, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone. Sure, she wasn’t the seeker, but she still could’ve scored so many more times than she did. Soon, she grew tired of the Great Hall, and went to retreat to her Common room, when she ran right into someone. She smiled weakly, “I’m so sorry! There’s just so much on my mind right now, I can’t focus on much.”
Freddie had been trying to save a paper from falling out of their sketchbook instead of paying attention to where they were supposed to be going when someone bumped into them. They were ready to offer up an apology of their own when they recognized the voice. “It’s all good, Lucy. It’s nice running into you,” they grinned. “You headed to the common room too?”
