My ancestors, watching me dump an entire stick of cinnamon, two cloves, an allspice berry, and a generous grating of nutmeg into my tea, sweetened with white sugar and loaded with cream, while I sit in my clean warm house surrounded by books, 25+ outfits for different occasions, and 6 pairs of shoes, in a building heated so well I have the windows open in mid-autumn:
Our daughter prospers. We are proud of her. She has never labored in a field but knows riches we could not have imagined.

because I've been reading the gospels and jesus is dealing out nuclear-level clapbacks left and right, he is peevish, there is a lot of anger or at least frustration in him. yes it is all coming from love. but not a superficial sunshine-and-rainbows love, but a love that rebukes and corrects and calls out. like, he would have been really good at dunking on people in twitter arguments is all I'm saying
It boils down to progressive Jesus vs radical Jesus. The Christ of the Bible was inherently political and an enemy of empire and greed. He wasn’t afraid to call out his community in order for them to do better, and his temper is part of that (on top of, I think, doing a lot of work to humanize God and show us connections between the Son and the Father’s wrath and tendency to get mad/frustrated and retaliate but hold back and regulate because of love). He’s peace and love but he’s peace and love in the sense of someone willing to fight tooth and nail and die for it. There’s a reason why there’s a strong Christian tradition of radical pacifism and protest. The man flipped over tables and took a whip through the temple vendors for Christ’s sake (ha). It is a deep love—one that takes action and is moved on a deep visceral level instead of just passively and superficially standing on the sidelines like a glorified toothless steven universe character.

Just about every kind of technique witches are actually doing can be Googled, DuckDuckGo'd, or Qwanted in like fifteen seconds. There isn't some Super Special Secret Powerful Technique we're all sitting on and not putting on our blogs for some reason.
The reason you can't find working techniques for elemental control and shapeshifting by searching these sites is because, and I emphasize, they don't exist. (Also, anyone who tells you they can teach you how to do these things is bullshitting you.)
The idea that some pagans have that you cannot view a deity as a lover, a close friend, as your child, as your parent, is so funny to me as someone who is both Hindu and pagan
In bhakti, there are different types of Bhava, or feelings. There is Shanta Bhava, where the devotee is peaceful. Dasya Bhava, where one serves the deity wholeheartedly and finds joy and bliss in service. Sakhya Bhava, where the deity is a friend of the devotee. Vatsalya Bhava, where the devotee sees the deity as their child. Madhurya/Kanta Bhava, where the devotee sees the deity as their lover.
And to call these practices "humanization of deities" just feels disrespectful to me. If you don't understand it then that's completely fine. But to disrespect forms of devotion just because you think it's "too weird to be real" is just not okay.

Calling people "xenophobic" for not being open to the starseed narrative is a new one in my book.
Yeah, I have no problem with extraterrestrial souls incarnating on Earth; I got a problem with space missionaries preaching spiritual eugenics and promoting cultural genocide.
I myself am open to otherkins and changelings. But I draw the line at race purity/supremacy.

Anytime someone asserts that doing or owning some thing will get you bothered and tormented by any kind of spirit or entity, you should stop and ask yourself where the evidence for this is.
For example, it's often asserted that Ouija boards are portals that let in malevolent spirits, with an occasional anecdote about someone who was allegedly tormented by said spirits after using a Ouija board.
While these anecdotes can be extremely evocative, it's important to remember that they are just anecdotes, and they don't really say anything about what's happening on a broader scale.
Consider: Ouija boards are produced by Hasbro and sold in toy stores. If they were as likely to let in malevolent entities as people claim, they wouldn't be a commercially viable product. The reason Hasbro can sell them to people is because the vast majority of buyers do not have bad experiences.
The same goes for tarot cards - some people assert that they let in malevolent beings, but the reality is that thousands of people own and use tarot cards without any kind of problem.
Some people assert that depictions of fairies will let in the Fae - but millions of people own all kinds of fairy art and knickknacks without encountering any trouble.
If someone told you that they had just watched a popular children's fantasy movie and that demons torment them afterward, what would your first thought be? Would you just assume that this movie must be extremely dangerous, or would you remember that millions of other people watched the same movie and did not experience demonic attacks, meaning that this movie is probably not to blame?
There is no broad evidence to suggest that anything is very likely to let in malevolent entities. If some people perceive they are suffering from spiritual attacks after engaging with some fairly commonplace thing, it would seem that they are extreme outliers. (And I think it's more likely that such people actually suffering from mental illness and/or severe religious indoctrination than from real spirits.)
