I remember seeing them perform this live on my campus.. My jaw dropped within 10 seconds.
I’m sorry I have to watch it again I had such whiplash I kind of blacked out here for a sec

Shout-out to all the lovely people who aren't feeling okay right now but continue to wake up every day and refuse to give up—I'm so incredibly proud 💛
Sad but Fab
Husband just told me he’s going to sit in the car because he’s about to yell at someone on the phone and doesn’t want me to be upset by his yelling and I can’t decide if this is a little sad or kinda hilarious.
Remember that post about how a lot of women are inherently terrified of men shouting, even when it’s not directed at them or with cruel intentions? Good men get that and will uhhhhh apparently sit in their car on a summer day because they just HAVE to roast someone but they also respect women’s feelings.
“Pardon me, madam. This gentleman must be put to rights immediately. I will take him out of doors for a thorough admonition so as not to upset your delicate constitution.”

not 2 sound whiny but i wish more attention was given to the importance of art and literature and philosophy and other humanities again so they'll return to being a really great part of what shapes a decade or an era instead of being seen as useless because they don't fit into the capitalist ideal of a productive society
English speaking Friend : “The French langage is so beautiful, so sexy. Like you could say anything and it would sound so fancy and all of that. I love the French langage, it always sounds great.”
Me, after hitting my foot on the corner of my coffee table : “Putain d’ta race la pute de merde va te faire enculer espèce de connard de coin, salope de tes morts là.”
English speaking Friend : “Oh my, so beautiful.”
can we talk about this lady please? How she was an elderly, single woman who literally left all of her property to her cats and how the artists could have just made her a stereotypical crazy old cat lady but instead they made her absolutely fabulous and graceful and she still twirls in front of her mirror like she’s pretending to be a princess at age 60/70/80-something?
and in no way condemned her for never marrying/having kids
Ohhhhhhh Now I know why I always wanted to be a cat lady
And she’s a retired opera performer! (Carmen was her favorite role.)
TIL that a New York University study found that people with easier-to-pronounce names have higher-status positions at work.
Boy, tell em
The concept of hannibal is so fucking funny to me I cant get over it. Like hmm we need to find out whos doing all these crimes. Now let me go to my friend Haggravated Lassault's house

“To my siblings – I tried to find redemption and failed, forgive me.
To my friends – the experience was harsh and I am too weak to resist it, forgive me.
To the world – you were awfully cruel, but I forgive.”
