☀️Hey there! It's been a while since we've updated hasn't it? Well, we have some good news! The artists and writers have all finished their submissions and all that's left now is to compile everything into a proper zine!

☀️Our lovely editor in charge, @ThisisEClmao, is our one-person star of the show at this part of the process. They're in charge of the compiling, printing, shipping, and everything else from here. If all goes well, we'll be seeing a release before July. 🎉

That said, we ask that you please be patient with us for a bit longer, as this zine is a labor of love made by fans for fans, and sometimes life can toss some urgent matters our way that take priority and delay things.

With the new Stardew Valley update, fixations combine, so… Sunshine Valley AU!

Im thinking that in the AU, the player moves to a small rural town in hopes of a more meaningful and grounded life, taking over their Grandpa’s old farmhouse. Only, they find the old mascot of the town living there, and he is so happy to not be alone anymore! He hopes you can bring the Sunshine back to the Valley, but is he planning on keeping you all to himself?

I definitely want to draw the other boys and profile cards for the AU, I’ve got a few ideas for how they can fit in as villagers in town~

Another piece for my Sunshine Valley AU, this time with Ian!

I picture Ian, in a similiar vein of the player/mc, needing to get away from the stress of a busy life (in his case, his acting career), and finds himself working at the small towns flower and seed shop, as he had family in the area he can live with. He’s actually surprised to find that MC had the same idea, and wants to make up for his past misdeeds any way he can.

Running the towns only seed and supply shop, you’re sure to meet with him fairly often. Let’s hope that the farmhand won’t mind too much…

Next up for Sunshine Valley AU, Shaun (+Moonpie!)

As Shaun is a canon movie maker, I thought it would be cute to have him be a horror writer in the AU, living in a cabin in the woods neighboring the players own farm. I’d like to think he came to the Valley as a writing retreat, but discovered he loves living in nature, and has taken to country life quite well. He’s no recluse, however, and is more than happy to get to know the player. Although, with someone around to properly take care of the old farm, some forces may start to wonder if the owner of the cabins has outstayed his welcome in the woods…

As far as the history of the Valley is concerned, I have some vague ideas but nothing too concrete. Something along the lines of the town once being owned by a defunct studio once used to encourage people to come visit and settle down, but the studios closure leaving the town a shell of its former self. No one in town discusses this, perhaps because of some great disgrace/tragedy?
