started awakening in the warden alistair timeline and i genuinely don't know how to behave. solona's essentially got everything she wanted, minus alistair being there physically right then. she's been allowed power and influence despite being a mage, and while she's going to be very careful to make sure she's allowed to keep it, she's the happiest she's ever been. she's genuinely surprised at anders' mixed feelings about his conscription, because how can he not see that this is easily a better option?

vs the canon king alistair worldstate where alistair gives her amaranthine to make sure she can keep her freedom, and in so doing forces her into a tightrope dance to maintain the position of arlessa despite her being a mage and half the landsmeet being against her.

A really important component of my vision of the world post DA2 is the fenbela FWB situation which was easy enough to buy as casual when they were all in kirkwall but becomes increasingly weird when Fenris moves on to tevinter and Isabela starts traveling on her ship but they just keep making longer and longer commutes for “booty calls.” Both of them act confused if anyone points this out as being strange and seem offended if you insinuate that feelings might possibly be involved
