A complete state of absurdism, I scroll down my twitter between two grammys posts there are hundred posts about how Sudan has surpassed the internationally recognized threshold to declare famine because of the on going war, there 30.000 killed Palestinian so far due to the on going genocide, Congo is going through worst genocides that we actually contribute to it, but then I scroll down to posts of one of the biggest events, that invites one of the biggest artists with unfathomable impact, but instead of it being an event that can evoke solidarity and put pressure and mediatize even more the necessity of urgent interventions...but not it only evoke the state of the most depressing absurdism in this world <3

Israel has bombed—and completely demolished—the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza, which is the second oldest mosque in Palestine. There was no purpose to bombing it. There was no advantage to targeting it. Israel simply destroyed it to make a statement: that Palestinian religion and culture not only mean nothing to them, but are something they’re actively working on wiping out.
