So, I hurt myself pretty good at the gym today. Pulled a muscle in my back lifting way heavier than I probably should have. I might be laid up for a couple of days, so if you don't see much from me, that's why. I don't know how this is going to affect my work yet, but it makes me think about how I would manage my work if I were debilitated. What processes would I have to change, alter, or discontinue because I was out of commission? It's a scary thought, because we don't consider these contingency plans while we're working. They usually only come to light after we need them. So, my challenge to you, ladies and gentlemen, is the think about what you would do if you couldn't do what you need to do.
