My heart goes out to all of the children and families of those whose lives we barbarically taken from them today at the Newtown Elementary School shooting. Mass tragedies like this should start opening peoples minds to begin fostering seeds of love and begin to make personal decisions for the benefits of others. This Mayan "End of the World" idea is proof that we are at the end of the world as we know it. Once we start following and changing our conscience from weakness, fear, resignation, and hate, over time with the proper guidance and utter commitment, we can eventually grow to become a humanity of optimal hope, health, courage, and love. Even though tragedies like this shooting exist, I still have faith one day our world will be a better place.

It has always been a dream of mine to dedicate time to pause from obligations and the hectic pace of reality to truly self nurture myself. I finally pursued this desire by planning a personalized mindful meditation / yoga retreat in Sedona, Arizona. I leave next Monday and could NOT be any more ecstatic or ready to embark on this journey for myself. In the past, this trip seemed impossible to achieve because of money and self doubts, but with time and patience, I finally made it happen. I truly intend for this trip to be transformational and eye opening because I will constantly be surrounded by peace, health, nature, and love. To some this may seem simple, but to me it sounds like bliss.  I can't wait to FINALLY push my level of comfort by going deeper into myself and my thoughts, which will assist me in flourishing as a positive light in this world.

This quote made me smile because it relates so perfectly to my current situation. Timing can be an incomprehensible topic, but when you trust and surrender the the flow of life, you will accept that where ever you are is where you need to be. It's easy. :)
