Here's my guide to how I draw fat masc bodies! (please keep in mind that this is not an in depth tutorial. I only put the information that explains how my brain interprets it)

Spiderman AU for fun back when ATSV dropped
What (in my opinion anyway) makes a doctor safe and helpful to a fat patient?
- if they need to know your weight, they explain why, and they give you the option not to hear the number yourself if you don't want to (this goes for all patients regardless of size, as this can be a major trigger point for eating disorders). For instance, what dose you need of some medications will depend on your size
- they don't make assumptions about your lifestyle
- when you come to them with a problem, the first thing they prescribe is what they would prescribe to a thin person with the same problem
- if they suggest weight loss as part of a treatment, they explain how and why it's a relevant idea, and they bring it up specifically because the regular treatment isn't working or the problem keeps coming back, not as a "let's try that first"
- if you don't want to pursue weight loss, they respect your decision and help you whichever other way they can
- ideally, they know, and display that they know, that fat bodies are not inherently unhealthy
weight loss dieting is gonna be one of those things that future people look back on the way we look back on bloodletting
šŗš«§š”LONG RESTš”š«§šŗ
A soft, peaceful illustration with fun lighting I really enjoyed creating.
I also want to chill in a magical water fountain! Or, you know, just enjoy a long rest in general.
We can have a little art. As a treat.
Iāve seen people in full black tie but also people in jeans??
The Three Graces by the late photographer Leonard Nimoy (yes, Spock from Star Trek!) from his Full Body Project
A true photographic classic!
i did a good handful of stuff for the #augustadipose challenge this year, here's a couple of my favorites! the rest are on my bluesky and instagram.
So sick of these Pinterest ads that you THINK are cute lil videos of a gorgeous fat person showing off their stylish outfit, and then bait and switch itās some patch for weight loss, and Iām like? Oh okay, you get me so down bad obsessed with this radiant curvy woman with her big curly hair and her glowing smile and then whoops sheās just just the ābeforeā and the after is some probably AI skinny version of her. Stop it. Let me appreciate beautiful fat people without them having to get skinny later.
Women stick thin and malnourished on the red carpet, and people are saying you can't point out that these women are dying because that's body shaming. Girl.
@whitenikes
sometimes you talk to someone whom gives the impression of being rational and then you find out their view on fat liberation hasnāt even reached the āclothing manufacturers should make clothes that fit all bodiesā stage yet
The idea that you need to āearnā food is really strange, like I have to reach an arbitrary threshold of energy expenditure before I can consume the nutrients that my body needs to function?
