i was informed by my therapist yesterday afternoon that while i have a good chance of being approved for disability, my case is at a standstill right now because of the pandemic. it’s out of both of our hands at this stage, and we can’t do anything to make the case advance during this time. i have zero income, and can’t drive & my roommate is w/o a car at the moment due to a car crash we got into in january. he’s still struggling w/ lawyers & the local police, also being hindered due to the pandemic.

Fantasy AU! Mic is a siren, Shouta is a witch and Toshi is a genie! One tidbit: AFO finds Toshi's lamp and uses him for evil. Toshi manages to twist a wish so that AFO has a weakness, and as punishment AFO curses him to waste away/banishes him to the bottom of the sea. (copying my info dump from twitter:) Shouta lives in the woods and the nearby town is terrified of him. They tell stories of a creepy old witch that eats children, but in reality he just looks old from a distance because of his outfit. And he saves kids who run away by taking them to his hut, teaching them some life skills and takes them to a distant city to start anew. He leaves them with Nemuri, a sandman-like creature that watches over dreams. She either helps them find a caregiver or helps find them a place to stay. Shouta likes that the town is scared of him. It's quieter that way.

Mic lives out in the ocean and while he definitely uses his siren song to eat people, he mostly enjoys luring people to the shore so he can steal their snacks. He's developed a taste for People Food. He also loves treasure hunting, and finds Shouta by traveling up a river in search of trinkets. They get off to a bad start, but start a Professional Relationship by trading goods. Mic gives Shouta rare things from the sea for his potions and Shouta exchanges it for lil charmed baubles and shiny things.

I chose genie for Yagi not just because it's such a powerful being, but because a genie is always serving people. He is bound by whoever has his lamp and can never do things for himself. Siren mic is obvious, but what drew me the most was the idea of him only able to make unholy screeching sounds above water. Shouta being a witch was more decided due to his personality than his power. He just wants to live alone and be self sustaining.

Outlaw AU!!!! I played too much Red Dead Redemption 2 and now I’m obsessed with this idea of everyone in my hero being SOME kind of hooligan. All Might is, of course, the #1 most wanted outlaw but after a horrible injury he wastes away to become unrecognizable. It’s accidental, but it’s the perfect disguise. Present Mic is a city performer by day, swindler by night. His good bud (boyfriend) Aizawa does a lot of begrudging favors for him when he needs some really dirty work done, but mostly Aizawa gets by by looting camps by night. Sneak attacks where not too many folks get hurt and even less get killed, but hey. Shit happens. Midnight and Mic get into equal amounts of trouble in the city and are becoming notorious together.  Mirio? He’s an up and coming all around EXCELLENT gun slinger. He’s flashy and dangerous, which is quickly sending him right to the top of everyone’s shit list. He’s part of an equally notorious gang known as the Big 3: Himself, Amajiki and Hadou. Amajiki is a trapper most hours of the day, but secretly is unmatched as a sniper. Hadou’s their demolitions expert. You want something blown away? Go to her.
