if only for a few seconds to think, to
the situation. They’d rushed into this
with no plan, and the feelings they felt bubble up inside them seemed to… Confuse them.
They weren’t used to it. They didn’t understand; they couldn’t understand.
Fear, anger, and mostly confusion pulsed through their veins, but they didn’t know what it was.
It burned like their blood had been replaced with melted aluminum, and there was a tightness in their throat.
Chara never felt a n y t h i n g. They couldn’t feel anything. But right now… Right now they didn’t know what was happening.
They’d never felt guilt, regret, or fear in their life; it had been e a s y up until this point. Why could they feel all of this?
What was happening to them?
Chara shook their thoughts away, blocking them, and Frisk out. They closed their eyes, calmed themselves, and soon they felt nothing again.
A small smile reappeared on their face; a tiny, seemingly insignificant thing. Then, they did something unexpected;
They began c r y i n g. And it didn’t seem to be fake, however that wasn’t the case. They wept hard, hot tears flowing down their rosy cheeks, smile curling into a pout as the loud clatter of metal hitting tiles filled the room, followed by a small voice.
«I’m sorry. I’m s o r r y, F r i s k, s o, s o, s o s o r r y…!»
