Walking out of the royal purple door, the cold wind immediately hit their face, making them wince.
A shiver traveled down their spine, and they whispered a c u r s e beneath their breath before walking forwards, the snow crunching angrily with every step.
Y…you really hate me that much?
The maternal goat’s melancholic voice still echoed in their mind. However, it wasn’t like they
c a r e d.
Moving forwards, they stopped to see if they could grab a large branch trapped in the ice,
but to n o a v a i l.
They continued, but had a strange feeling that they were being followed.
*Here we go again, huh?..
Of course Sans had been keeping an eye on this child as soon as they walked out of the ruins, but he had that itching feeling. That horrid, putrid feeling that he had, had once before. The problem with remembering timelines, if even only a little, was that the emotions that one felt would never go away, no matter how hard one would try, and poor Sans had this issue far more than anyone else in the Underground.
Not once did he take his optics off of them, always keeping a close one upon them, as they made their way to the usual spot of the bridge. Should he even bother greeting them? Would it just be the same?
He wouldn’t know until he tried.
A low breath later and a quick code jump and he ended up behind them, just like always. Hell, it even made him feel sick to have to repeat this every time, but if he didn’t.. Well.. The anomaly wouldn’t be too happy.
*Hey, kid. *Turn around and shake my hand.
His low, raspy voice echoing around the snow as he tried to remember how many times he had said this, having lost count many timelines ago. He guessed that using the ‘Is that how you treat a pal?’ quote wouldn’t go down too well, but then again, what would with them? He could never be sure anymore.
Hm. That skeleton again, huh? They were getting kind of sick of his interfering. Regardless, they turned around, taking the other’s skeletal hand, expecting the joke that was soon to come.
They had only done this once before; possessing Frisk, that is.
The thing was, this kid was really determined to get free. They just couldn’t stop, could they? What did they care about these monsters anyways? They would just get in their way.
Their eyes looked flat and dull as they listened to the skeleton’s usual dialogue. They wished they could just skip it.
