Magda. Ive been thinking a lot about trying to do a TWD-style adventure or story game set in the 18th century. I think this would be the protagonist. I called her 'Magda.' Hope you like her.

Hey guys! Just wanted to share this free tileset from Norshire Messengers with you.

please share and rt!
merry christmas
I really loved Last of Us: Left Behind and Faith Erin Hicks' comic The Last of Us: American Dreams which is why I made a Fanart mockup of a demake trying to adapt the style from American Dreams.Â
Hope you like it :)
Added some code to my smartphone game experiment
Started a first person cellphone/stalker themed horror-game for #asylumjam but didn't get to finish it :( Here's some mockups though :)
I'm somewhat stuck =(
I'm somewhat stuck in the development of #Crushcreek my summer-themed puzzle game. Ever since I migrated to Haxeflixel I'm having trouble with coding (not that I was particularly good at it to begin with). Nowadays I can't even get a goddamned flxtilemap to show in my gamestate. Which, weirdly, makes me more sad that it probably should. I was having such a good run with this.
Maybe someone knows what's wrong, I'll be asking on twitter also:Â
Sneak Preview =)
Just a little reminder that you could play Sleep once in a while :)
Sleep live on Gamejolt
Big news! I've finally released a playable version of what's going to be my first game: Sleep. You can try it out over on gamejolt. However, it's rather short and a little buggy and there's still some (mainly audio) polishing missing.Â
I'll be getting to do that in the next few days. Also there seems to be a bit of a problem with the detection of input. Don't know how to handle this in a smart way yet :(
Anyway, I'd appreciate any form of feedback. Thanks,
fritzi out

Music for 'The Norshire Messengers' a WIP mini-videogame.
What's really hard about a game that lasts only about 30 seconds is to communicate the concept. For sleep I'm reducing the "interface" to one button that can be pressed or not.Â
I hope players will figure out how to play it. Should be done by the end of the week (I hope). Wish me luck!
Content warning: This post contains graphic language, slurs and triggering content
This article is heartbreaking. And true.
There is a reason I throttled back on doing a lot of creative gaming content a few years ago. And why I still avoid taking some jobs in the gaming world when theyâre offered to me. And why, when we have a female host on any of our Geek and Sundry gaming shows, we have to monitor the comments on YouTube extra, to remove the many comments that are offensive and pollute our communityâs spirit of equality. Because I hate that shit.Â
There is an endemic acceptance in the gamer world that âwell, it comes with the territoryâ when a woman receives threats and harassment and the hateful anonymous internet dialogue is focused on her body and whether they would âdoâ her or not. I donât know why this became okay. Itâs a vocal minority that has been given way too much power over the industry dialogue, and I am so happy to see more and more articles like this shining the light on what reasonable gamer men and women have been conned into accepting as a given.
NOTHING is a given in this world. And frankly, it taints the art form we so love and keeps it back from becoming more respected and more diverse to not at least TRY to fight it. Gaming deserves more than complacency in this area.
Even posting this link will cause me to receive hateful Tumblr PMs. I can always tell when something I write gets linked on certain places on the internet (like 4 Chan or a few other forums of troll-hood), because Iâll immediately get dozens of hate mails along the veins of what is posted in this article.Â
Well, Iâm a lucky one to be prominent enough to have 10 supporters for every hater. I mostly feel sorry for girls and women who arenât in my position, who may just give up on gaming when theyâre too beaten down to fight anymore.
We have to change that. For the good of what we love doing, gamers! Okay, back to work :)
