being a lesbian means an intrinsic and automatic cut-off from men in your romantic and sexual life, both in yourself and with your partners. if you're a lesbian, men cannot be involved in your romantic and sexual life, and if they are then you're not a lesbian! period. and this isn't talking about gold star rhetoric - lots of lesbians discover they're lesbians later in life or after being involved with men. some lesbians also discovered that they were not in fact men before discovering they were lesbians. that's okay! what matters now is that, as a lesbian, you're not involved with men. lesbians are exclusively not available to men, as partners and in personal identity. you cannot be a lesbian as a man or as someone attracted to men. period. that's what being a lesbian is. get over it.
me: gives proof in the form of an entire blog that asexual as an identity is often favored over lesbians.
this lesbophobe: lol this is bad and I’m going to dm you then block you
@sympathetic-deceit-trash
@the-comment-er there is a widely accepted lesbian flag to the point where amazon and target are using it. get a better argument.
Which one? The one in your icon? Widely rejected for its problematic roots and monochrome style. The two orange stripe designs are quite popular too. As well as the labyrs flag, gray/pink/blue/purple flag, and yellow/pink/green/purple flag.
What does it matter what corporations are doing? They just want money and don't speak for us. Creators will get hate no matter which lesbian flag they use, and will be quite confused when trying to find which one is "the" flag. It's not remotely easy to provide for a community that is nowhere near a consensus.
the flag in my icon is the villain lesbian flag that was created as a joke you absolute CLOWN
So which one is "widely accepted"? There are 6 popular ones.
literally the most widely accepted one is the pink+orange one. no other one is as widely used or recognizable.
Y'know it's really funny to use "there's no consensus on what flag to you" as an excuse to completely exclude lesbians from pride stuff. One simple google search shows that the pink and orange flag pops up the most frequently in google images. There is even information as to why other flags (the all pink & lipstick ones) shouldn't be used. There are tons of blogs on here that focus on lesbian content - why not send an ask there asking for the blogs' + followers opinions? Y'know like... Listen to lesbians instead of ignoring us
It's also really sad if giantass corporations that don't even care about us can get our flag right but creators from the lgbt community can't.
straight people should have to wear “VISITOR” badges when they go to gay bars
since when is that going to help closeted gay people at gay bars? what about bisexuals and asexuals? i’m tired of our own community saying shit like this and meaning it. no they should not.
clearly you guys have never actually been to an lgbt bar.
Pretty funny how youre championing for bi and ace ppl yet u bring them up when the word "straight" is used. Almost like you see them as (partially) straight 🤔
Is it transphobic to continue identifying as a lesbian even though it turns out I’m also attracted to femme aligned/presenting NB people? I don’t feel comfortable identifying as bi bc it implies I like men and ‘gynesexual’ feels gross
I think it depends on how you view the term lesbian. I will say that you mean to say “fem presenting” as fem is the shortened form of feminine and femme is a lesbian identity. I don’t think there is any harm identifying as a lesbian as long as you are attracted to women and not attracted to men.
Can anyone else add their thoughts?
this is a really tricky area.. (fitting nonbinary identities into binary language) i will be giving my perspective as a nonbinary lesbian
I think many nonbinary people realize the complexities around the situation. On one hand, u dont want to imply that the nonbinary individual is a woman (bc they may or may not be woman-aligned / have a connection to womanhood) but on the other hand, saying that ur attracted to women + nb folk is bad because its treating <nonbinary> as a third gender, when in reality there are so many different nb identities.
the two identities can go together! i wouldnt mind dating a lesbian because i feel a connection to womanhood through my attraction to women (if this doesnt make sense feel free to message me and i'd be happy to do my best to explain this) but it is important to note that not every nonbinary person may feel this way.
i hate defining lesbianism by a connection to men but i have seen some people describe lesbianism as like, not attracted to men. Which works but i personally would not use it because i dont want my orientation to be focused around men.
overall, dont let labels hold u back from goin for someone ur really interested in!
Seriously, @strangesystems? There’s plenty to criticize exclusionists on without resorting to lying. And I don’t know why any inclusionist would feel comfortable throwing accusations of pedophilia around when fatfae has been a pillar of their own community.
earlier today i also noticed they posted this... implying that most exclusionists are pedophiles

on my snap story i posted me playing webkinz n one of my highschool friends who i havent rlly spoken to in a couple yrs replied
This is a test! 💜🖤
If you think Aro and Ace, people aren’t in the LGBT, please reblog and support this.
If you don’t agree with this reblog this: https://asexual-pride-98.tumblr.com/post/178366822672/this-is-a-test
If anyone thinks that Aro and Aces are apart of the LGBT, please reblog and Like this in support If you dont agree reblog: https://asexual-
How are you, an asexual positivity blog, going to keep your “test” from being biased?
Why are exclusionists hell bent on saying pedophilia is a sexuality? Why are they hell bent on including pedophiles in the queer community but not ace people? Just thought I’d ask.
u got receipts
🐸frog stamps!!🐸
Hot take: exclusionists are always nasty, awful people
Hotter take: exclusionists base their entire belief system on gaslighting victims of oppression and rape.
have these takes been in the fridge? bc they r freezing cold
just 👏 cause 👏 u 👏 type 👏 like 👏 this 👏 does 👏 not 👏 mean 👏 ur 👏 point 👏 is 👏 right 👏
nothing sexier than a girl whos just a little out of it. asked the girl serving me at mcdonald’s 2day where the straws are and she said “straws? why would we have hay here” really sexy of her
Ok but seriously stop bringing up those asks. Anon is correct. Lesbians are less oppressed than aces and they have TONS of rep while aces have N O N E. They could’ve worded it better but come on. Go outside and learn how it is in the real world
.
what the hell r u smoking anon
i find it so… funny almost… that inclusionists go around comparing exclusionists to a transphobic group its a-ok bc “uwu its the same rhetoric” but flip n reverse the situation n all hell breaks loose
This almost sounds like you’re saying it’s okay to use terf rhetoric… … … . .
this almost sounds like nunya
