i play a daily cryptic crossword clue game (minutecryptic) and once you've got the answer it gives you a link to a youtube video explaining the clue and there's always someone in comments whining about the clue being too arbitrary or ambiguous...

i don't understand people like this. it's a cryptic crossword what did you expect??? if you want something straightforward and easy, don't play this game?? i get that it can be frustrating but it's fun when they're difficult because you get to learn new ways of thinking!
