That scene in the third Hobbit film where Thranduil and Bard and Gandalf are all hanging out in a tent? I just had to realize it was a tent of men who love men all by myself huh

That was the last sunrise I ever saw. Perhaps the kindest thing the dark gift has given me. // It was the last time I saw my brother. It was the last time I saw the sun. It was the only time I ever felt free.

HAYLEY'S SPEECH ON THE IMPORTANCE OF VOTING DURING 'BIG MAN, LITTLE DIGNITY' iHeartRadio Music Festival | sep. 20th '24
fifteen years ago this week I turned seventeen, broke up with my high school boyfriend, accepted I was queer, glee premiered, and lady gaga performed at the VMAs
there's not really enough in the text to support a full analysis and I doubt Armand has the self-awareness to even have a cohesive political philosophy anyway, but there's something about him mocking Louis as the "first vampire capitalist" and him picking the mansion as a target explicitly because of their wealth and disconnect from the suffering of common people that is... well. I wonder how Armand felt when he learned about the source of Louis's wealth, both generational and the specific business decisions he made in New Orleans.
I kind of slayed with this I fear
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE
2.04 I Want You More Than Anything in the World
About once a week I think about Armand's response to being asked point-blank how he felt about choosing community theater over Louis & everyone Louis loved when it mattered, ostensibly because they were his ~coven of 200 years~ and then subsequently letting Louis kill all of them anyway and he just goes
"I had complicated feelings" in the earnest tone of someone who has never once unpacked this suitcase before but knows he felt *something*, he had to feel something about it, how dare you suggest he didn't feel anything about it, but he doesn't have the vocabulary to explain what those feelings were and why it should matter? Wild. I love this sad terrifying man so much.
you gotta wonder what kind of landlord louis was though. complain about a leak and next thing you're being taken out by his twink boyfriend
