#inktober2017 week 1 I sticked to the medieval magical theme
A birthday card for my mother-in-law, who was born on 1967, the summer of love :)
A set of plates me and my boyfriend made with our favorite foods (he made the one with the garlic). And a plate I made for his family as a christmas present with the four seasons.
I asked my friend what was his favorite album cover and I drew it on a notebook as his birthday gift ;)
A girls night out requires drawing flowers and drinking mojitos :D
A page from my sketchbook.
I haven’t drawn anything colourful in a while. Just been doodling in my notebook while my computer is thinking its thoughts.
From my sketchbook. Inspired by my vacation to Vienna!
I started a new hobby last September: porcelain painting! I have done quite a few things since then but I constantly forget to post them here. Oh well!
Here is a little plate I did for my friend who moved from Tartu to Graz and who I visted earlier this month. This was a sort of a thank-you-for-having-me gift :) I am really pleased with the result!
A birthday card for my relative. She’s quite the mushroom forager :)
My second ever attempt to sketchnote.
This is about the art of stoic living. I highly recommend You read it!
It gave me a great sense of calm and quieted my monkey-brain.
The best way to learn is to learn from the masters. Here I redrew, with small modifications, an Alphonse Muchas Laurel.
Lately I have been drawing little cards. My boyfriends grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The card is featuring their favorite flowers :)
The second card is for my boyfriends nanny who is a real nature spirit.
A pictrue I made for my relative. He’s a big guy who likes to play bass guitar. So I took inspiration from the fabulous sixties/seventies, the golden age of rock’n roll.

My Gran had her 75-th birthday last week and the weeks/days before the big event I was hard at work drawing. I decided to draw her wedding day, a photograph I have admired for years.
The hepaticas that surround the picture are there simply because they got married in the spring and my Gran loves seasonal flowers.
I remember being a child and going through her jewellery box and admiring the necklace she is wearing in the picture. She gave it to me some years ago and I wore it on her birthday, she had forgotten about it but was glad to see that the necklace gets to breathe some fresh air.
PS! Her dress was green
A picture I made as a surprise to my friend who has been god-knows-where the past months....okay, she was cruising around North and measuring all kinds of stuff :D
I sent this picture to her, hoping it would be there when she got home!
Below is a little moodboard and reference pictures, can you spot the similarities?
*Picture sources (the ones I could find anyway): one, two, three, four, five
A watercolor picture I made for my bf. He is a huge Queens of the Stoneage fan and I remember this one time we were daydreaming. He said that if he had a house and that house had a room where to play drums and jam, then he’d have a wall painting inspired by the video Go With the Flow.
I kept this remark in mind and since we don’t have a house I drew him a picture instead :)
