“ nepo-what now? ” he's only heard that word a few times in his entire life, and had never bothered actually looking up what it means. not that it matters NOW, since alastor is clearly trying to play more mind games. adam isn't going to fall for his bullshit. who cares what words the radio demon uses? he's not going to worm his way into adam's head that easily.
“ i don't know what the fuck you meant by being green, but why does that matter now? all you did and do doesn't change the fact that i got in because i'm the best. i've lived the most righteous...awesome life, and if i hadn't, i wouldn't be in heaven now, would i? ” he narrows his eyes. “ not a sin to be had, man. know where you are? ” he holds out a finger, spinning it around in a circle. “ you can act like i'm not good enough all you want, but we're still on two opposite sides of the fence here. bottom line is, one of us is in with the sinless crowd, and it's not hard to see who falls where. ”
the threat doesn't slip past him, either. he's quick to deny everything alastor says on principle, but there's still that lingering doubt. he's not an angel, and CAN be killed. alastor himself could probably do some massive damage to adam ― but that doesn't mean he's an easy target for alastor to just attack at will. it's still enough that any fight would drag out far too long and be far too brutal. if only he knew what alastor's off-button is, so he can shut the bitch up.
“ i also don't care about lucifer's wings. he's nothing but a wife stealing shut-in. who even cares about him? ” of all the things to be offended over, this certainly takes the cake. adam decidedly does NOT like being compared to lucifer in any capacity. as far as he's concerned, this is crossing a line. an actual, RAW line.
“ also, you don't have any wings, so you're still not winning. ”
