Try as she might, Chantel is a rather picky eater. Although, it's less due to the flavor of foods she doesn't like, but the texture of those foods. In particular, she doesn't like slimy food. Chantel also considers herself a vegetarian in the sense that she doesn't eat meat, but the foods she eats instead aren't much healthier.

Hear me out: Chantel has shown up to Canari's Quiz Whiz contests before. She didn't win though, so she never got to make her request Canari to play a new game blindly.

okay but have you ever beaten Splatoon 2 : Octo Expansion.
"Yes, I have, but I'm awfully surprised that you would be the kind of person to enjoy Splatoon. I had assumed that you were too busy for such things."
Chantel likes notoriously difficult video games. If asked, she'll say her favorite game of all time is Bloodborne, and she's looking forward to Duskbloods.
On a separate note, she also enjoys watching the occasional speedrun. She doesn't have a favorite game she enjoys watching one for, though.
"Are you quite alright? You look as if you've seen something unpleasant." Chantel sat down next to the other person. "I don't have much else to do tonight, so take your time. If you need time to yourself, though, that's understandable."
"Is it just me, or does something feel a tad... unusual?"
Chantel's key stone is in a large clip she has in the back section of her hair. It does make Mega Evolution harder for her to pull off, as she has to find exactly where she put the clip without seeing it. Because of this complication, she usually puts it in the same spot every day.

Chantel has a soft spot for unevolved pokemon. She doesn't use them in her team, but she has a Bergmite, a Snover, and a Snorunt that she keeps around for company. Once she gets to know other trainers well enough, she will ask permission to pet or play with their younger, unevolved pokemon.
I just realized Chantel is just ice-type Lebanne but also if she cared about hunger or homelessness.
...I'll have to find ways to separate the two better.
