“Perhaps you wouldn’t be so warm if you didn’t wear so many layers,” Dennis teased. He laughed warmly and tilted his head, gazing out at the city through the window.

The city was very different to Academia. In ways Dennis couldn’t really say aloud without blowing his cover. Academia was on an island in the middle of the ocean. It was peaceful and quiet. At light-out the island went all but completely dark. Only emergency lights along the floors of the halls and a few security lights on the perimeters and high security areas. He could look up and see the stars. The ocean could turn, storms could roll in. Weather was unpredictable and wild.

But Broadway wasn’t and neither was Maiami City.

“It’s nice enough,” Dennis said after a moment. “It’s… peaceful. Back home was always busy. I’m not sure it’s such a good thing, though. I go a little stir-crazy with nothing to keep me busy. There’s only so many times I can rework my deck before it becomes redundant.”

❄ "I did not bring any clothes fit for this warmer climate. I don’t even own any clothes like that.” There was no need for warm-weather clothes back in her country. They would simply be a waste of money. However, she was supposed to be in Japan for quite a long time, so perhaps she should buy some clothes fit for the climate?

“This place is a lot less peaceful than my home. It was always very quiet.” Olga explained. “However... I would like to look around the city and have some new experiences. It might be nice to be in a city like this.”

Joikshipping

Joikshipping = Yuzu x Olga

Named as such because a joik is a term used to describe various types of song in Sami culture, and the Sami are from Norway, Sweden, Finland & Russia. It’s also said in oral tradition that fairies of the arctic land gave this style of singing to the Sami people. Not only is this kinda a Norse thing (in the sub, Olga says she’s from the Nordic LDS branch, that was omitted in the dub), but it’s said to have been given to people by fairies, the same type as Yuzu’s Melodious deck.
