Okay so I’m replaying Z-A because yeah of course I am but while I was playing I got a battle zone next to rust syndicate which lead to me realizing something

In the DLC Corbeau asks to meet the player at Nouveau Café but specifically the main truck that Grisham and Griselle run

But here’s the funny part

THAT TRUCK IS FURTHER FROM HIS OFFICE THAN THE THIRD TRUCK

I mean, a bunch of the protags are older than 10. On one of Leon's trainer cards it said he was champion at 10 and that this is unusual, implying that Hop and the Galar protag are older than that (also, Hop can't be too much younger than Leon if he can remember Leon becoming Champion, and Leon is an adult, and Hop and the protag are likely around the same age) In Alola Hau says that the minimum age for the island challenge is 11, setting the Alolan protagonist's age at 11-12. In Legends Arceus Cyllene says the protagonist looks "about fifteen." Also, in BW2 it's implied that Bianca is an adult or at least pretty close to it, and Cheren is a full Gym Leader, so it would make sense for Hilda/Hilbert to be in their mid to upper teens.

Anyway, I started cooking for myself at around 14, so it isn't impossible for a kid to know how to make some simple meals. I agree that the curry is a bit complicated for a kid, though.

I've got a postwick bros angst fic I've been shuffling around for a while; it's about them after the Eternatus attack/Champion match

I was bored, so I did a little experiment.

If you take the Pokemon with the best stat value in each stat individually, you take the HP value from either Blissey or Eternamax Eternatus (255), the Attack value from Mega Mewtwo X (190) the Defense value from Eternamax Eternatus (250) the Special Attack value from Mega Mewtwo Y (194), the Special Defense value from Eternamax Eternatus (250) and the Speed value from Regieleki (200) we can build a Pokemon with a base stat total of 1339. Such a Pokemon would be on the level of gods and quite frankly shouldn't be accessible to the player. It also draws mostly from Eternamax Eternatus, who you're only supposed to fight in a 4v1 with two legendaries on your side.

But could we build a hypothetical Pokemon using only regular Pokemon (no megas because Galar, no UBs, no Paradox, no mythicals/legendaries) who could solo Eternamax Eternatus? The Pokemon with the highest base HP is Blissey, who is tied exactly with Eternatus at 255. For Attack, we'd use Rampardos, who boasts a 165. The humble Shuckle boasts both the best Defense and the best Special Defense at 230 each. Special Attack puts us with Vikavolt at 145, unless we use Ash-Greninja, who has a Sp.Atk of 153. Ninjask is our speediest boy at 160.

This gives us a BST of 1185, which is slightly above Eternatus's 1125. This means that if we made the Best Normal Pokemon using only the stats we have, it would be roughly an even fight. Anyway, Eternamax Eternatus is broken, but it has to be, because you fight it 4 on 1.

Olives--decent on pizza

Guacamole--it's okay but I don't usually go out of my way to eat it

Mango--Mango is like suckling from the tender breasts of Aphrodite. I will accept no other opinions.

Hummus--I think my mom fed me carrots and hummus one too many times as a kid because I liked it okay back then but I don't really eat it now

Tomatoes--I don't like raw tomatoes mostly because of the texture but I love how versatile these boys are. Pasta sauce, pizza sauce, salsa, ketchup, sandwiches, burgers...

I've never actually had cannolis but I'd like to try them someday

Side Note: Leon is VERY TALL (and Hop is smol)

I mentioned this in a comment to someone but I forgot just how tall Leon is when you really look at him next to Raihan, who is indeed a whole other level of tall.

(Also this photo's super cute, the besties love them so much)

Full heights here from Pokémon Masters EX. So know when I bring up in fics Hop is short or small compared to Leon, THIS is why. He is just a little guy next to his big bro. He only barely makes it up to Leon's chest and has to constantly look up to see his face.

In other words Leon the tall, Hop the smol.

(And Raihan is king of tall in Galar. He'll always win that competition against his rival)
