I am so tired of explaining this over and over again, so I will link this whenever someone even MEEEENTIONSSS IT AGAIN.

OH MY GOSH!!!! whenever people ship Stuart and Kevin, I can’t help but think “dude, those guys are siblings!!”. They might not actually be related, but the implication that they are supposed to be is still there!! Like, you think Illumination would have the GULL to make ANOTHER small, cute character with a stuffed animal?! Maybe. Probably! But copying Margo, Edith and Agnes onto three minions is definitely NOT just a tacked on “oops, same character syndrome!” mistake.
Am I taking this all too seriously? MAYBE I AM. I’m too old to be whining about shipping these characters, but by God, I will!! JUST LOOK AT THEM!
Okay, compare them. Margo and Kevin are the tallest- Edith is medium-sized like Stuart, and Bob and Agnes are the cute little small, happy balls of yada-yada-yada with stuffed animals.
THEY ARE THE SAME!!
This is why they work so good together. We get Margo Edith and Agnes but, instead of just being a prop, we see them with goals and aspirations. Stuart wants to be a rockstar, Kevin wants to save his tribe. Bob wants to help his tribe, too, but this is him just wanting to help his friends instead of the future of their tribe. What do Margo, Edith and Agnes want?? To get adopted, I guess?? Their goals change every movie, but that’s all I remember seeing from the first movie, aside from the focus on their dance recital.
Anyway, my entire point here is that our Main 3 Minions are supposed to be Margo, Edith and Agnes. THISSSS IS WHY I DONT SHIP ANY OF THOSE THREE WITH EACHOTHER!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.
yo it's me heidi. the guy. I decided that since I have NEVER finished a oneshot in my life, I'd post a few wips that I hadn't really revised/polished + context.
TL;DR: here's an old woolymanda thing (we still use that name?)
[CONTEXT! Amanda hadn't slept that night. Nightmares, boredom, basically whatever would make you sleep deprived. The rest of this was supposed to be Wooly trying to get Amanda to rest like a reasonable friend, however I forgot about this entirely and didn't wanna finish it.]
*insert TV stuff here*
“Hi friends, I uh.. I'm Amanda...” She yawned, rubbing her eye. Wooly stared at her for a moment, acknowledging something wasn't right about her. She wasn't usually that.. Sloppy with her introduction. He'd snap out of it, looking back at the viewer. “And I'm Wooly!”
Amanda was too out of it to even side-eye him because of his delayed response, just going along with the script. “Today we're gonna be..” She trailed off into a mumble, jolting back up before she drifted off. “we'RE GONNA d-uh. I- I dunno. I..” She groaned, putting her hand on her face.
He turned to her, hesitantly holding his hand out. “Err, we can come back to this if-” She cut him off, shooing him and his hand away. “No, shut- shut up for a second.” Wooly backed off, staring at her awkwardly until she looked back at the screen, smiling again. Geez, her eyebags were more apparent like this. “Today we're gonna be coloring! I love colors! What's your favorite thing to color?” She asked, pausing to give Riley a few seconds to answer. Before Amanda could give some kind of sarcastic remark, Wooly chimed in.
“I thought we were supposed to be drawing?” He tilted his head a little, motioning to the blank pieces of paper and crayons on the ground. “Drawing, coloring, same thing.” She rolled her eyes, yawning again. “Personally, I enjoy drawing animals.” Amanda dropped to her knees, grabbing a sheet of paper and a blue crayon. “They're flexible! Lottt'sa settings they could be put in.”
“Which could be applied to anything else..?”
“Yeah, right. Who's gonna find a lamp out in the forest?” She rolled her eyes at the sheep's attempt of correcting her (or whatever his intention was), tapping the crayon on the ground as she thought. Wooly took a seat beside her, taking note of how she subtly swayed. “Hey, uh! Maybe we—or you—lay down while we draw! It's easier that way, right? No back pain?”
When Catnap captured Dogday and split him in half, he overused his red gas on him so he wouldn’t feel as much pain and often be asleep so he could be eaten easier without him screaming, so when the players (cuz now it’s a group of teens) save him, he’s really high on the gas and often can’t comprehend what he sees because it’s engulfed his system.
And also he’s asleep most of the time so they gotta carry his giant ass.
But when they get to safe haven they treat him so he’s semi off of it but he still gets hallucinations
