I love Julie Molina. So much.
Like,,, there’s something ABOUT her. She’s just got this aura to her that makes me love her. She’s RADIANT. Objectively she just looks like a high school girl but she’s somehow completely different. Perfect Harmony vs. Can I Have This Dance
I LOVE THIS SO MUCHSHSHLASALJDSJ
can we also talk about how each major Julie & the Phantoms song has something to do with the band and their Journey? (the ones performed by Julie AND the band.)
1. “Bright” - Literally talking about getting out of that rut and that dark place with her band and shining together. The boys being ghosts and thinking they couldn’t preform music anymore but with Julie, they finally were able to shine. Same for Julie with using them as a way to find music again and finally preform. “You and I will fight to shine together, Bright forever.”
2. “Finally Free” - The band landing a gig somewhere with producers in the audience and moving up in the world and being more confident in their music and each other. “Now we know what we’re worth.”
3. “Edge of Great” - Making their first video for YouTube and having multiple people come to watch their performance live. Feeling like they’ve almost established their goal of making it big. “I believe that we’re just one dream, away from who we’re meant to be.”
4. “Stand Tall” - The lyrics literally say that no matter what they face, even if they’re facing it alone, they’re still going to stand tall as Julie performs on the stage alone thinking that she’s never going to see them again. Also with the boys thinking that they’re stuck at Calebs club. “Whatever happens even when every things down, imma stand tall.”

I literally cannot get over the fact that this was the face Luke made when he finally appeared and looked at Julie in stand tall. Like, I noticed that all the boys looked over at Julie and smiled because they were happy to see her. But this big grin Luke gives her after she excitedly hopped over to him during the song just makes me so happy.
Like the boys thought they’d never see her again after that Caleb performance and Julie thought they had crossed over already but they all made it and Luke looked so happy to see her after they all thought that was it for them.’
