Narratively speaking it would mean we've reached a point where the entire status quo of the Honkai Starrail Universe is about to change. No Cosmic Alliance coming to their aid, no Power-ups for the TB and Himeko about to die. Sacrifices need to be made and Welt is the only one able. Mind you if we look at the first Trailblaze Mission he's currently holding back and acting more supportive so that the younger Members of the Astral Express Crew can shine. He's kind of a safety net. The Decision would probably coincide with him talking about his past. But damn i want a dedicated arc for him in HSR.
