Carbomer is a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer. It is an extremely efficient rheology modifier capable of providing high viscosity and forms sparkling clear water or hydroalcoholic gels and creams. Use Triethanolamine (TEA) as a neutralizer to get a clear gel. Our pre-gel takes out one of the steps in the preparation of your final product.

This is a citrus-based cleaner with a bit of acetone for an added kick. It is not harsh smelling and does not dry vinyl or your hands the way 100% acetone does. This product was specifically designed to remove the paint from plastic doll bodies. It will not melt plastic the way pure acetone will! Customers also use the remover to do precision paint removal on the vinyl doll faces. You can see what Blue Guzman did on that Power Ghouls Spectra in the picture above.

Carbomer 940 is a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer. It is an extremely efficient rheology modifier capable of providing high viscosity and forms sparkling clear water or hydroalcoholic gels and creams. Carbomer 940 polymer short flow (non-drip) properties are ideal for applications such as clear gels, hydroalcoholic gels, creams.

Carbomer 981 is even more efficient than Carbomer 940 at low and moderate concentrations. It is toxicologically preferred since it is polymerized in a cosolvent system.
