I dunno if you saw this but? I was browsing the t//az wiki and i was like hey what do people think about sazed and there was this one comment that was like "sazed is my husband uwu" and i? think I threw up a little because I don't understand how anyone can like sazed as a character? he's only shown as a horrible person who manipulated taako and really hurt him??? anyways I'm just angry because if people think that's ok I don't know what else they think is okay :///

this happens in every fandom and even with real life people and its fucking wild to me, ive never been able to wrap my head around it

I'm a gay guy who was in a bad relationship (idk if it was abuse, bc it was mostly online and mostly ok till things broke bad, but it was shitty all the same) and I am suspicious of taazed shippers BC often it's ppl who think that paranoia and abuse is somehow more interesting than like healthy canon relationships. Like, fuck, if you want the constant worry that they might show up and thinking what you could have done differently so things wouldn't break bad so much, here, take mine

i 100% understand, like? i feel the same way and like?? taako literally hasnt brought him up like everrr outside of what happened in the chalice, like, the thing is we got the last straw, we didnt get the rest of the story, it was said that taako repeatedly told sazed he wasnt comfortable with him cohosting and like, i feel if they were in a relationship, it wouldve been mentioned outside of sazed thinking highly of taako, and like... he tried to fucking kill taako, i dont buy for A Second that he was aiming for the audience, theres no way he couldve predicted that taako wouldnt taste test the food and people insisting that its unclear i just.. dont get like you dont.. you dont do that sazed was most likely an adult and yknow people do bad things in dnd of course, its dnd, but backstory is a whole nother thing, it isnt in-the-moment, its something you can sit down and think “yes i am absolutely certain this is what i want to happen” and i do not doubt that griffin intended it to come across as sazed trying to kill taako

of course some taazed shippers will come back with “but kravitz tried to kill taako too!!” theres.. a difference, kravitz is employed by a powerful goddess, from her and kravitzs point of view, taako did things (die several times) that went against the laws of nature and they had to fix that by killing him, which is in no way comparable to sazed trying to kill taako out of jealousy

sorry for the late reply im depression but, im not entirely sure if id be comfortable with adding mods unless they were close friends, you cant access asks unless youre an admin, but if youre an admin you cant be kicked off the blog, which i would prefer as a possibility if only for worst case scenario

we need to make a club for people who are kin with taako and want to punch s*zed Directly In The Face because i feel that we all share this one trait in common

while it seems obvious that this would be the case, i actually have seen taako kin defend him and people that are kin with him, i try to stay out of kin stuff because the kin community in general tends to have a lot more active members that are younger than me, which makes me uncomfortable, so i probably wouldnt start or join that club specifically but if someone made a discord or skype group for it i would be glad to promote it as long as the creator isnt a bad person in other ways

its definitely not, honestly from my perspective, i believe there was most likely something else going on because of sazeds lack of communication with taako and his insistence of getting what he wants regardless of how taako feels about it like,, i suppose its possible that this was an isolated event but from what little characterization we have of sazed, i cannot imagine it being so, yknow? 

like i personally am someone that projects onto characters a lot to better process and cope with my abuse but also looking at the situation logically and with my knowledge of abusers, it is extremely likely that sazeds disregard for taakos feelings caused other issues
