I do volunteer work for the Animal Protection Society ( http://www.apswa.org/ )
Our shelter has been entered into this competition to win $5,000 to go towards all the facilities.
We have a no-kill policy so even if an animal is too shy to be homed it will forever have a home at the APS.
The APS is also a non-profit organisation and absolutely no government funding and all we want to do it help the animals on the streets!

I just wanted to let you guys know that i'm going to try and start taking pictures for this blog, as well as posting submissons and other nice photos the other admins and I have found. :> I'm gonna try and get myself over to Taronga zoo and take some pictures of the animals there soon.
Anyway, heres a picture I took a little while ago of the Sydney opera house. Not really an animal but, oh well. Hope you're all having a nice day!
