Love had danced into the village and announced its giddy power.
I’m never really scared to upload something I’ve created because I tend to put 110% into anything I create. But I’m pretty damn scared of uploading this. I have grown up watching Maxine Peake, she has become a friendly face to me. She has shown me that a woman can be so much: brave, fearless, weak, emotional,scared, lonely, in love, and still be a strong woman. I owe my career to Maxine Peake, her acting and portrayal of Martha Costello showed me that a working class, a normal girl can be a barrister, against the prejudice and the disadvantage she has before even waking up in the morning. Twinkle has made me smile with her off the cuff comments and brilliant facial expressions. Now I may not be Northern, and I may not be an actress, but Maxine Peake is one of my role models. I hope this video showcases, if only a little bit, how much this woman inspires me. Thank you, Maxine, you’ve done so much for me.
