Philinda Rewatch 2023 - Let's do this!

What are we doing?

We're rewatching Agents of SHIELD as a community to relive to glory days and once again get consumed by the beautiful mess that is our OTPs canon.

But do we stop there? OF COURSE NOT!

We will reblog old fandom creations and hopefully, even create new beautiful art and gifs and fanfic along the way.

How are we doing this?

We will watch one episode a week, starting with the Pilot this Sunday, July the second.

Starting every Sunday, the following week will be under that episode's "theme", for lack of a better word.

This blog will have a small queue with some old goodies from the @fuckyeahphilinda archives, so we can get inspiration.

This means we have one glorious week to share and create for this specific episode before we move on to the next.

Please share EVERYTHING by using the tag philinda rewatch and we will add your beauties to the queue.

Speaking of "we" - so far it's just me, @suallenparker, but I'd love to have at least another mod for this blog. So if you're up to the task, please message me!

Thing is, that I finally have some more free time again and I would love to get back into fandom. What better way could there be than to rewatch my OTP fall in love again?

So I was thinking, if you guys are game, we could do a community rewatch?

Starting Sunday, July 2nd, we'd have one week to watch an episode, starting with the pilot and during that week we could share our old favorite gifs and fanfic and meta, heck, create new things to share and enjoy! - Just to do it all over again with the next episode the following week.

Because yes, I miss my OTP, but I miss our community even more!

We could have a blog, especially for this purpose, where everybody could submit things and where a queue would be set up with some gifs for that week's episode.

What do you guys think?

Hello, agents, and welcome to the briefing for your next mission, should you choose to accept it.

As you know, this holiday season will be the first without the expectation of a new season of our wonderful show, and we decided we wanted to do a little something to both commemorate it and spread a little holiday cheer. So today we’re delighted to present you with the briefing for your next mission: an Agents of SHIELD Secret Santa.

Every agent will be assigned a partner, and your mission is to make their holiday season as bright and happy as possible by writing them a gift fic tailored to their specifications. Fics are to be between 1k and 10k words in length, and complete as is (no multi-chaps or part-two’s).

This mission will require some undercover work, too. No contact off anon with your partner or breaking your cover till the mission concludes on the 24th of December! On that day it’s crucial that you reveal yourself to your partner and complete your mission by gifting them their fic no later than 11:59 PM in your timezone.

To report for the mission, fill out this form before Nov 18th. HQ will contact you the next weekend (Nov 20th - Nov 22nd) to let you know who your assigned partner is, and give you their prompt specifications - which gives you just about a month to create something wonderful for them!

Remember: the purpose of this mission is to spread happiness at all costs. However, if you are obliged to pull out for any reason, we will make sure your partner gets a gift nonetheless. To this end, we ask that everyone who is willing to pinch-hit please contact @daisylincs ❄.
