You ever think back in the day this is where we’d be?
sometimes i think about how mickey can’t sleep because westside is silent, so he asks ian to talk to him when they are already in bed. they talk about ANYTHING, from discussing their day (which they spent side by side and know everything but still) to talking about planning the future.
the thing is, these conversations never last long, because at some point mickey starts falling asleep while still trying to talk, and now he is mumbling and then falls asleep mid-sentence.
ian kisses him on the forehead, says a quiet “good night”, turns off the bed side lamp, hugs mickey and then goes to sleep as well.
they do this every night, cuddle, etc. at some point, mickey doesn’t even need this, he sleeps just fine, but he wants to listen to ian talking. that’s the routine for him now. and mickey loves the routine.
Something I accidentally picked up from a show that I never even finished is that scene where Mickey got pissed about the wedding chairs and scratched his eyebrow before crashing out like it’s genuinely something I can’t stop doing when I’m mad because it’s like a little self soothing method
“tell me goodbye” while unbuckling his belt was wild
the docks scene’s gotta be the hottest scene in television’s history
Nothing gets it out of my head that in this scene Mickey already knew that Ian was gay and wanted to go and take a ‘look’ He goes into the store, takes what he wants and doesn’t see Ian, so he goes back to get something else. Just so he can see the redhead. It’s the only thing that makes sense, since Mickey doesn’t think twice about wasting the product he just stole by throwing it at the redhead and shouting his first date invitation: You know where I live.
obsessed with how ian calls mickey husband every chance he gets
It’s summertime and Ian Gallagher has a sunburn all over his back ☀️
Mickey is currently pouring aloe all over his back and trying his best to spread it on without hurting him 🖤
Mickey smiles as he sees all the new freckles that have appeared on his shoulders and arms 🥺
Not to sound like Ian, but if i was his husband i would’ve pounced on mickey the second I saw him in this outfit, he’s stronger than me i fear
the soft big jumper, the grey torn off sweats covered in dirt, and his big boots?
i am down bad
Mickey was like "I like 'em sweet." bc Ian was just a babygirl.
But when he got out of prison, he realized he likes 'em beefy, too.
His boyfriend whatever became a man.
