Kentucky native performer and singer/songwriter, Erin Coburn is a force to be reckoned with. She captivates her audiences with her prowess on guitar, powerful vocals, and unique blend of rock and blues, bringing it all into the 21st century.
Erinâs latest release on November 8th, âOut From Underâ. Is natural progression to a more mature sound with edgier lyrics, searing guitar solos, and a dash of humor.
Erin regularly performs across the U.S. at venues and festivals of all sizes. She also has performed with Grammy award winning artists in Nashville, was nominated for the 2017 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards in the Best Blues artist category, the 2018 Josie Awards for "Young Adult Artist of the Year" award for independent artists, and has played several shows and festivals, including Summerfest in Milwaukee, BlissFest in Michigan, and the main stage at the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Arkansas.Â
Watch Erin Coburn introduction video below.
Hereâs what Erin Coburn has to say about the album.
â  âWhile I was writing the songs for the album, âOut from Underâ, I noticed a theme of growth within,â explains Erin. âI saw that I was breaking out of rules and restrictions I had once put on myself because I listened to and believed the so-called norms of society and even in music. With each distinct guitar part, lyric, and melody I crafted, I became more comfortable with me and who I really am. I think this album will certainly create a deeper connection with those that listen to it. Creating a connection and being relatable is my ultimate goal with what I give through my music. No matter what you are going through, you are not alone.â
Out From Under is now available.

Patrick McGee, aka Acidhead, is back with another new single titled "Love Has Me Keep On Dying." It's the latest from his forthcoming debut project, Distractions, dropping November 15th via Veriditas Recordings.
This new track is a three-sectioned song of rap/garage band stylings. Based on one of Aaron Coplandâs Emily Dickinson songs, âThe World Feels Dustyâ and James Joyceâs Dubliners. The middle section includes a poem by Sara Kongkatong, and in addition to programming and vocals, McGee plays saxophone on the outro.
CONCERT REVIEW: DREAMERS in Houston, TX at The Lawn at White Oak Music Hall (8/6/19)
We knew we didnât have to wait long for DREAMERS to come back to town! Earlier this Spring, they announced they were joining 311 and Dirty Heads on a summer tour and this past Tuesday in Houston, TX the trio began their three-city trip in the Lone Star state.
It might sound a bit odd and confusing at first seeing this alternative rock band from California on tour with a mix of pop, reggae and ska artists, but, honestly, you could stick DREAMERS in any kind of line-up, and theyâll fit right in. No need to question it, especially if youâve already attended this tour already.
DREAMERS took stage second after touring mates Bikini Trill and kept the energy afloat. People were still piling in the outdoor venue and the brutal Texas summer heat did nothing to drain the bandâs performance.
Opening with âSCREWSâ, featured on the FLY EP (2018), this was definitely a whole new kind of crowd as it was evident that they werenât familiar with DREAMERS. Lead singer Nick Wold would have no problem breaking the ice though because his words could relate to all music lovers as he stated, âweâre all DREAMERS.â
The remainder of their set consisted of the classics from the debut album, This Album Does Not Exist (2016), of âWolves (You Got Me)â and âSweet Disasterâ, which is was a track that Wold easily had people singing along to with him as well as performing two new tracks off the latest LAUNCH FLY LAND (2019) in âVampire in the Sunâ and âItâs Something to Be Aliveâ, and ending with the fast-charting hit âDie Happyâ.
Remember when I said that you could stick this band in any line-up and not question it? I made friends with other local concert goers, whoâd never heard of DREAMERS, and they were skeptic at first about if this band fit in this scene or genre of music. After watching their set, it was clear that they would soon become familiar with DREAMERS and their music from now on. DREAMERS has the perfect atmosphere and vibe to reach out to different audiences.Â
Weâve seen a lot of DREAMERS this year and I believe weâll see much more of them soon. For more information about DREAMERS, click here.Â

Russell paused for a minute. And explained their next song titled, âPanic Roomâ is dedicated to a friend who ended up with PTSD from severing the army in Afghanistan.Â
Throughout their set, the crowd was up on their feet and the band had put up an energetic performance the fans could not get enough! LA alternative rockers, Weathers made their second return to Salt Lake City on June 30, 2019.
Photos + Words by: Daisy Beltran
Weathers have been making a name for themselves as they hit the scene hard with their single "Happy Pills. The band has toured extensively, opening for the likes of Saint Motel, Nothing but Thieves, and Dreamers.Â
Previously, the band had come to Salt Lake earlier in the tour. Although this time, vocalist Cameron Boyer had come with a broken ankle on his left leg with a crutch. It didnât slow him to play for their dedicated fans.
The show felt very personal, and made everyone thrilled throughout the night. They even played a hit classic, Hungry Like the Wolf from Duran Duran. Boyer had told the Salt Lake fans they were freaking incredible, and this was the best show yet!
Weathers is an upcoming band you donât want to miss. Beyond hard hitting tunes with groovy vibes. They have tapped into relatable vulnerability with their lyrics and messages that many people can connect with.
Kids in the Night is now available.

CONCERT REVIEW: DREAMERS on the Back Again U.S. Tour
Did the stars align? Deja vu? DREAMERS come back to Houston and it was at the same venue a year prior - only a day shy of that anniversary - did they open for New Politics. I only know this bit of information because DREAMERSâ drummer, Jacob Wick, mentioned his birthday later that night and stating he celebrated it in Texas last yearâŠand itâs kind of the exact day I recall falling in love with this band as I saw them for the first time. Okay. Iâm going with that deja vu feeling because every time I see DREAMERSâ live, itâs like Iâve fallen in love with their music all over againâŠso, yup, definitely felt like the first time.
The city wasnât that deprived of DREAMERSâ as Houston was a part of their first-ever headlining tour this past September in 2018 and during that year was a very eventful one for the band as they put out two EPs, Fly and Launch, both of which are a part of a three-part EP series when combined form the bandâs sophomore record and more recently released the new single âDie Happy.â Well, there ainât no rest for the wicked, as DREAMERS joined British rock band, You Me At Six, on the Back Again U.S. Tour.
The gloomy weather didnât damper anyoneâs Spring Break as fans lined up before doors were scheduled to open. All I could hear around me were a bunch of conversations from the attendees full of anxiousness. This is my first time seeing DREAMERS. I wonder how this is going to work in a small room? I wonder what songs theyâre going to play. What if they donât play âSweet Disaster?â I havenât seen You Me At Six in years! Feeling like a concert-veteran and having seen these bands multiple times, I wanted to assure everyone that both acts would rock their night and not to worry because this would be a show thatâd truly be transcending.Â
Depending on how you look at it, Houston either lucked out or maybe were just âlucky dogsâ as this date was short one opening act, subjecting the audience to a longer DREAMERS set. No one seemed to care. Their setlist was a good mix of their discography opening with radio favorite âScrewsâ featured on the EP Launch alongside tracks âBlack and Whiteâ and âFake It Til You Make Itâ being part of the performance. In addition, âAll Washed Outâ and âThe Last Love Songâ both from the EP Fly and songs from the debut album, This Album Does Not Exist (2016), including âWolves (Youâve Got Me),â and âDrugs,â which is ironically about being addicted to our devices and the internet, may also might as well (in a sense) describe our obsession with this band.Â
Ending with the classics and signature, âPainkiller,â with an extended rock-out session, showing no signs of low energy at all as frontman Nick Wold rallied up the crowd for You Me At Six before closing with âSweet Disaster.â
During the show, Wold revealed the third installment of the three-part series EP would drop next month. DREAMERS have no signs of slowing down as it was announced last week that they would be joining 311 and Dirty Heads this summer. For more information about the tour, click here.Â
In an attempt to go back to where it all began - the clubs - Sum 41 is about to embark on an intimate club tour this spring called the No Personal Space Tour.Â
The tour will take them across the U.S. in April and May.Â
Tickets will go on-sale Friday, 10 a.m. local time, here.Â
