You Were Never Really Here (2017) Directed by Lynne Ramsay
Narc. Superb opening scene (and subsequent film) with vomit-inducing hand-held camerawork. Though I think Narc’s greatest strength is the performance of the two leads - Jason Patric and Ray Liotta. Both deliver troubled, menacing turns as cops with their own individual ideals on what true justice is. Liotta’s character is an inspiration for Ray - an imposing persona, moulded by the weight of age and experience.
