JSTOR implementing an AI research tool. Even you, Brutus?
I’m soooooo embarrassed. My lord told me “good night,” but I thought he was calling me a good knight, and, well, you could hear it clink against my codpiece.
“If you don’t accept AI, you’ll get left behind-“
Good. Leave me behind. Leave me behind! I can rot into the Earth like the form of flesh I am so that the maggots may love me far better than the technology consuming you and your humanity ever will.

before i gotta go back to work tomorrow, do any renegade cultists want to kidnap me and set my life on a trajectory that culminates in making myself into a saint for a god of violent martyrdom

Please let me sink my teeth into your skin. It'll feel nice, I swear.
I need books, films, and shows to start giving a character's death meaning again. I am sick of shock value deaths, I am sick of pointless deaths that only suit to make another character miserable for a few chapters or a mere 20 minutes. I want more than that. I want them to haunt the narrative. I want their last breath to be in every single thing the surviving characters do. I want the death to be so tragic that it feels like you'll go mad from it. I want to think about it constantly until everyone around me is tired of hearing me talk about it. I want to be sick with it.
