I'm sorry but the sooner they realise that when they come into my life whether it's friends or relationships, they will never compare to the one person in my life. If they need me, they will always come first. If they don't like you, nor will I. And as much as nothing will ever come of it, no one will ever compare. Everyone comes and goes but you are someone that always remains. Through it all. True thick and thin 🤷🏼‍♀️

me: lol actually people shouldn’t have to be ‘useful’ to society in order to receive food & shelter; food & shelter should literally be 100% free for every single person, without exception. this isn’t a new or difficult concept.

every dumb bitch who loves working their life away in a system that is literally designed to keep them working their life away, about to defend that system:

So I work with the elderly, and the news was on. It was the coverage of the couple winning the EuroMillions saying how they compiled a list of their friends to help out. Jokingly, I said "if they are giving out free money I could do with 1k to get a new car!" She gasped and said how asking for money is rude, and how all her life she hasn't asked anyone for a penny. I said well fine, but surely if you had someone who was willing to help you out then it's not rude. Then she said "I believe that if you can't afford it, you shouldn't have it. I would rather be on the streets then ask for money" which made me realise that's what's wrong with society, and especially Britain.

Around 320,000 people are homeless in Britain. That's a 13,000 increase than 2017. Because my generation, (The Millennials) are now turning 19, struggling to find work and keep a stable enough income to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. But they were brought up by their parents, who were brought up with the mindset of my client. "Asking for money is rude" , well, is it?

If you are struggling to give yourself the necessary BASIC needs like food, water and shelter. You should be able to ask for help. There shouldn't be this negative stigma about asking help to keep yourself alive.

Asking help for basic needs is not rude.
