Sorry I don't know what other blog to ask this but how do I deal with having an fp/chp that isn't my partner? The feelings towards them are not romantic or sexual, it's more an intense desire for their attention in any form I can get and it makes my partner obviously very jealous. Is there any way I can balance out my feelings towards my fp/chp? Or perhaps a way to get rid of these emotions? Thank you and sorry for bothering

To anon asking about the chosen person thing!

As far as I'm aware it's not a clinical term at all so you can kinda define it based on your own feelings, but from what I'm aware, a 'chosen person' is someone you actually enjoy being around beyond just tolerating.

It's someone you consider special and an exception to most, even if they aren't necessarily equal to you in your hierarchy. It doesn't mean you won't split or find yourself devaluing them in your head sometimes, but in MY experience I'm much less likely to immediately lose any interest due to minor irritations.
