Mostly sims 2 pictures, reblogs and game play, also occasional reblogs of writing help and tips. I am really trying to work on a organized tag system, but I really have no idea what I am doing :) My goal is to eventually create my own custom neighborhood and possibly share it in some story telling type posts on Tumblr.
2 years after the release of Loads o' Laundry, we now present: Loads o' Laundry 2.0: a much-improved version of the Laundry mod and system!
Several gameplay features have been improved and many annoyances bigger and smaller have been resolved! A large number of new objects have also been added for your enjoyment. Sims 3 and 4 players may see some familiar things... Overall, it represents a marked improvement over the original version.
Furthermore, the Laundry Mod now comes with full language support for Dutch, French and European Portuguese with more coming soon... Edit: Polish has been added!
Before proceeding further, make sure you have the following requirements installed:

Gameplay overview and Download links below the cut
Gameplay Overview
Your Sims will now generate laundry if their hygiene is low enough. This requires the Laundry Global Mod (offered separately from the objects) as well as a Laundry-related object being present on the lot.
Sims may store their laundry in a hamper. Sometimes automatically if it's close enough and your Sim is inclined to be neat....
Wash and dry your clothes: a variety of both historic and modern, manual and mechanical ways to wash and dry your laundry are included.
Tired of the laundry piling up? Simply place a "Laundry-Begone-Box" on your lot and your Sims will no longer generate laundry!
Laundry Global Mod
The global mod is the backbone of the laundry system. You will need it in order to have your sims produce laundry. As it is a Global Mod, it is in its own rar. The Laundry Mod also has various trait-related features for you to enjoy:
Support for the Nevernude, Neat and Slob trait
Support for the following custom lifestates: Ghost, Mermaid & SkeleBro
NEW: Support for @anachronisims' Nudist trait
NEW: Hamper magic! If your sims are neat enough, they may automatically put their dirty laundry in the hamper (if there's one in the room)
MAC-compatible!
You need to have the file "SunMoon-Laundry_Hamper_Wicker_Round-REQUIRED" in your folder in order for the global mod to work!
Washers, Dryers, Tubs and Lines
Your Sims may wash their laundry using a wide variety of both manual tubs and modern washers. Both of these require detergent to use. Of course, after your laundry has been washed, you can dry them using either a dryer or a line. Just make sure not to hang your laundry outside on a rainy day. Just a small overview of the features offered:
Laundromat mode: run your own laundromat business at home or on a community lot! Sims will actually wash their dirty laundry! Of course, it works for visiting Sims too!
NEW: @anachronisims Big Spender Trait now effects the likelihood of a Sim using a laundromat machine
NEW: Stock your washer or tub with a detergent of your choice; no longer will you need an entire box of detergent for a small load, now one detergent will last multiple loads!
NEW: 2 extra detergents have been added. You can now choose between a Box or Bottle of detergent, Soap Solution or even a Baggy of Soap Nuts!
NEW: The fabulous @jellymeduza has created a fantastic little ceiling rack for drying your laundry
NEW: Many more washers and dryers straight from the Sims 3 and 4
NEW: Modern laundry detergent vendor. You can still access any laundry product still despite its looks.
Custom sounds and animations: not only does laundry come with custom (Sims 4) animations courtesy of @mortia, there are also some custom sounds!
Color Controller
This set also comes with a "Color Controller". This object allows you to choose the look of not only your newly-spawned laundry, but also how the fabric on your drying lines looks like! Use only ONE per lot.
Bonus
Another new feature is the (optional) support for @lazyduchess Laundry token: players with FT installed, have the option of downloading his laundry mod and getting the same slower motive decay for comfort when changing into different clothes using our fresh outfit object. Players without FT and/or this token will get a small bonus to the comfort motive instead. This is NOT available for MAC-users! You will need the following files from his mod should you want this feature:
ld_BecksLaundryMotiveDecayController
ld_BecksLaundryMotiveDecayToken

Localization
Added support for Dutch
Added support for European Portuguese - Obrigada @logansimmingwolverine!
Added support for French - Merci @helene2troie !
Partial language support for many other languages has been added in the form of catalog descriptions for Sims 3 and 4 conversions. (NOTE: 3t2 conversions have no Simplified Chinese, 4t2 conversions have no Hungarian. None of them have Thai)
Polish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese support is currently in progress and should hopefully become available sometime in early 2024
Would you like to have this set fully translated into YOUR language? Don't hesistate to make a translation using the localization strings. Just send it over when you're done and we will add it to the set! (send it via or Discord or PM fireflowersims)

In my opinion, this kind of trees always lacked in Sims 2 - tall slender cypresses to make mediterranean style villas and just luxurious mansions. And after I reworked xrax’s cypress, I immediately started working on this bunch.
Here are 3 cypresses converted from the Sims 4 by me but with brand new textures. All of them have one recolor for leaves part (unfortunately I couldn’t get bark part to be recolorable too) and are of course seasonal. They won’t have falling leaves in autumn.
A conversion of a gorgeous, absolutely stunning set by Max20, Garden At Home.
Includes all items + 2 terrain paints. Everything is quarter tile placeable, smooth and non shiny - my usual routine.
All the seasonal plants (stay blooming in spring and summer because too pretty!):
Terrain paints (do not appear in the collection because adding them is not possible):
Planters require Honeywell's garden plot or its edited version by @lamare-sims (if you use our Planting Overhaul Mod) if you want to be able to plant harvestables in them:
Small planter can go on surfaces:
Wood shed is a functional composter (works with Planting Overhaul Mod), sims go through to use it though:
Repotting table is a functional flower arranging table:
Don't let the look of the bench deceive you - it's a normal functioning loveset, and if you align 4 pieces together (no cheats needed for that), everything becomes seamless and fits right under a nice looking tree (I got some for you right here ;):
Bird bath is a ladybug house, it spawns pretty butterflies and birds high up in the sky (cloned from this object by @hugelunatic):
Big greenhouse is an actual lamp (though its light is very subtle). It also intersects with objects and sims (meaning you can put furniture inside and sims will be able to go through it to use these objects):
And to crown it all, the trellis is a functional wedding arch:
Thank you and hugs go to @episims and @platinumaspiration for always being there for me and saving my objects multiple times 🤗
Compressed, clearly labelled. Collection file, picture and Lord Crumps' shadow file (needed for shadows) are included. Merged files.

UPDATE 14/03/2024
Fixed blue flashing inside the trashcan (thank you @lurking-lilibeth for report), you can get just the updated file here. Also updated archive as .zip so hopefully it fixes virus reports.
UPDATE 15/09/2024
Added a second version for the flower arranging table that is compatible with @picknmixsims' Crafting Skills mod. Both versions are now in a separate folder, be sure to choose only one! If you just want the Crafting Skills version without redownloading the archive - it's here. Also added a SFS link for the archive.
A replacement for OFB craftable bouquets with models from Sims 4.
It's not compatible with other flower replacements and recolors and everything repositoried to them. It is however compatible with @hugelunatic's buyable flowers. I also updated the height of the smoke fx on snapdragon, you'll need to remake/rebuy it for the changes to apply correctly.
As a bonus, I also included a conversion of 2 objects from Flower Shop Set by @serenebluesims (Pocci) - a flower stand (9 slots) and a flower bucket (1 slot, goes on surfaces too). I also converted a fridge from Spa Day and called it a "Flower Fridge" :D It's a shelf with 6 slots. Because flowers have a shadow underneath, it will stick out of the buckets, but let's imagine it's a water level maybe? :D
All files are necessary for the default to function correctly (you can't pick and choose). All shadows are repositoried to Lord Crumps' shadow file (not included).
Compressed, clearly labelled, picture is included.
A conversion of everything from the Artist Studio kit.
Key features:
23 objects;
20 walls (10 but cut in half to preserve pattern, will appear sorted next to each other in build mode);
Smoothed out meshes, no shine (except when necessary), quarter tile placeable;
All surfaces have slots;
Two functional bookcases, one sink;
All shadows are repositoried to Lord Crumps' shadow file (it's included but as always, you don't need multiple copies of it in your downloads folder, so delete if you have it already);
The easel has two versions - normal one and faster painting as in Paint Faster mod by Chaavik. Be sure to keep only one!
Drafting tablet was cloned from a similar object by @jacky93sims - it's a "novel" writing tablet but edited by Jacky to look as if sims were drawing on it, mine functions in the same way. Some clipping is present;
The woodworking table was cloned from @deedee-sims' functional woodworking table so works in the same way and uses almost the same objects. I however made some changes to it: edited all meshes, removed shine, added shadows (though they tend to appear at their own will), replaced some textures and made recolors to objects that were updated by Maxis, made everything quarter tile placeable and made some other more or less tiny quality of life changes. Craftable vanilla Sims 2 objects (chair, violin, guitar and hot tub) were replaced with a 4t2 chair, a sofa, a cabinet and a bookshelf. This crafting station is now also translated into Russian.
Objects for woodworking station, almost the same as in DeeDee's station (converted by DeeDee, HugeLunatic, HafiseAzale and me):
Compressed, clearly labelled, picture and collection file are included.

UPDATE 01/10/2024
Fixed restocking from inventory function on some woodworking table objects. The archive was updated, but if you just need the updated objects (replace old ones with these) - they are here. Thank you @episims for the hint on where to look.
This is something I wanted to do from long time. Some days ago I saw this functional toaster by Buggybooz and I have the idea to improve it, changing the appearance and adding some recipes. This is what I came out with. Toaster is a 4to2 conversion from AroundTheSims. I added the "peeking" toasts too but if you don't like them, there is an invisible recolor so they will not show on the machine. Recipes I added are: butter toasts, jam toast, nutella toast, banana toast, cheese toast and avocado toast. Hope you like them. Toasts will cost 24 simoleon each and even children can use the toaster. Everything is low poly. Found in small appliances.
SimBlender by TwoJeffs@SimBology has an option to add/subtract 3 days out of a sims’ life. Which is a feature i never used because it was three days. So instead of going into SimPE and adjusting the age there. I decided to try and edit the SimBlender so the add/remove days interaction is more useful and i don’t have to quit and reload every time someone’s age isn’t correct.
Now instead of 3 days, it will be 1 day.

Hey! So this is something I’ve been figuring out for a bit these past few days.
I’ve made these two(3?) mods that are meant to compliment each other, although you can use one without the other: Relativity for adjustable day length and Motive Decay for adjustable… motive decay.
Relativity: SFS / Dropbox
Motive Decay: SFS / Dropbox
(Required) Mod Setup: SFS / Dropbox
(Required) Cyjon’s Smarter EP Check
Relativity should be basegame compatible.
Motive Decay most likely requires BV.
Usage:
The game by default will act like normal. You need to purchase the “Lazy Duchess Mod Setup” flamingo from the sculptures section of Buy Mode to start adjusting things:
i got completely sidetracked with other cc i had on my radar, but here is another piece of sforzinda’s separated clutter from EP12. specifically the debug shell mini mart. perfect for community lots, enjoy!~ ₍ᐢ ̥ ̮ ̥ᐢ₎ *:・。
icebox: 220 polys | $1000
propane tank display: 688 polys | $1500
newspaper box: 102 polys | $500
files are compressed. as always, please lmk if there’s any issues.
14 recolors and an edit of CuriousB’s White house from the “We built this city” set. The roof and windows have been re-textured. The recolors are for the original version of the mesh as well.
Can be found in neighborhood deco section, under the misc category.
i know there are many superb ts2 neighborhood deco masterlists out there but i felt the need to have all cc in one place so here it is!! i want to thank @lesyasun for inspiration and super cool wcif lists, @simper-fi for their amazing and iconic deco list and every lovely cc creator for making my neighborhood experience the absolute best!! ♡
this list has around 130 links divided into ten categories: countryside, suburbs, uptown, downtown, water, specific themes, misc, nature, maps/sky/terrain and mods :)
My last couple of posts have been about neighborhoods with more than one type of (working, real, actual) road in them. It does take a decent amount of SimPE fiddling to get this working correctly, so be warned, but here’s how you can add a second kind of road to a neighborhood.
I tried to stream on twitch. (Thank you for the inspiration @marasims !!)
It worked….. sorta? Until (and I only noticed this while rewatching T_T) the visual started lagging more and more, and it got cut off entirely after 36 minutes. I’m not sure what happened there, haha. Perhaps I need to try another software? Or maybe it’s too stressful for my laptop….
Anyway, if you want to follow along and get notified when I get things rolling, you can find me here:
