Some weeks are easier than others. But I'm grateful to God that even in the less easy Some weeks are easier than others. But I'm grateful to God that even in the less easy weeks He remains faithful and I'm able to cling on to His Love, His Grace and His Word. I saw this today just when I needed it - at exactly the right time! It reminded me just how much God has a sense of humor and how He goes out of His way just to make us smile. I smiled. Guess I'ma sit back and let heaven handle it all! (To all my non-French speakers out there, the words read: "relax, we'll take care of everything").

And when we can't just hop on a plane, we watch a movie or bury our heads in a book. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with any of that (I love travel, a good movie and an awesome book anytime). BUT sometimes we forget adventure is right under our noses. Adventure are the beautiful streets and neighborhoods of your hometown you never bothered to explore. Adventure is that lady, that man you were never curious enough to hear their story. Adventure is that colleague you take the elevator with every morning but never make conversation beyond "hello". Every city or town has something to offer. Every single person has something to offer. You'll be surprised. 'There are no ordinary people'. Take the time. Make the effort. Make each day an adventure. During the week, as a woman in the tram stepped out at her stop, she quickly turned to me and told me I looked good and my style suited me. Though she looked nervous, she summed up the courage and conjured a big smile. As the tram doors closed behind her, I felt joy surface and I smiled stupidly to myself as I thought about how she’d made my day.
But she could have decided to keep her mouth shut and kept her compliment to herself. And by doing so, witheld that act of kindness.
Believe it or not, but your smile is enough to change the course of someone’s day not to talk of a kind word or a willing hand of help.
Many times we say there is something wrong with society and we forget we are the society. God has placed us strategically in our different lives to be a blessing. He can use us if we let Him.
Spread the love and change the lives around you. You know what to do.

The Dom Tower. It's a beauty! Great I get to see this nearly everyday.
Today, after classes in the morning (in the city center), my friends took me on an adventure and we ended up here. This is the Pancake House. Believe it, but it was my first time here since my #Erasmus in #Utrecht. Man, this place is a photographer's delight! Beautiful! Especially with the awesome weather. The fact that it's in the woods adds a little magic to this place and well worth the walk. Well, excuse me while I bombard you with pictures I captured on our way there and after. You'll thank me for it! Anyway, if you happen to stay at the #Uithof campus, this is definitely a place to regularly visit!
Quaint little restaurant at the corner of the street from Uni (city center). My friend loves it and constantly for an excuse for us to go. If you're in #Utrecht definitely a place to check out.
