I love the raven cycle so much it actually pains me…especially the little things.. like orange juice runs at 3:32am, or ronan casually chucking noah out of a window, or ronan’s raven being named after a freakin’ machine, the murder squash song, ronan pushing adam in a trolley, blue and ronan calling each other ‘man’ and ‘bro’, gansey and his boat shoes….just, the raven cycle man

the plot of trc makes no sense to YOU. i get it though
ok I want to purchase and read the Nikolai duology but the only thing that's stopping me is the fact that I read the original Grisha trilogy 5 years ago and barely remember anything that happened in it. I know King of Scars is a more direct companion to the Grisha trilogy than the SoC duology so I'm wondering if I need to re-read the Grisha trilogy to understand Nikolai duology. Can anyone advise/help me out? :)
just watched Shadow and Bone episode 1 and oh my god????? It's so good. I can feel the hyperfixation entering my body. The quality of the show is so damn impressive, the acting is top notch and HELLO CROWS I LOVE YOU ALL
All Darkling stans are whores in theory but not in practice because we don't like real men and we crave power I said what I said
raise ur hand if u also read the Grisha trilogy and Six of Crows duology 6 years ago and haven't re-read it since so you barely remember anything that happened in either series but ur still very excited for the tv show bc I know I am!!!!
due to personal reasons I have decided to sacrifice myself to a sentient forest
I finished TWO books today, TWO. Granted, one I had been reading for a few days but I finished it today, then read Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds in one sitting. I’m thriving, reading-wise. 2020 might be shit but at least I’m literate again lmao
i was planning this from the very first picture (which was k with chains) and now it’s complete
Kaz Brekker is my baby boi and no one can take that from me
I wanna know like.......why did the Quilete wolfpack need JORTS. Literally any other type of shorts to wear, and smeyer chose JORTS? Even cargo shorts would have been better, at least then the wolves woulda had a place to store a snack for laterÂ
The reason people don’t like Jacob Black is because of this shit:
He doesn’t listen to Bella, gulit trips her and sexually assaulted her. That’s the reasons. Anyone can make hcs or au of Jake to their own fun, but this is what is canon. We all know SM messed up his character and this shouldn’t happened but it did. You can like Jacob but understand why people can’t too.
at this point celaena and aelin feel so disconnected from each other that they’re literally not even the same character anymore. that’s not development it’s just bad writing
you can’t just,, switch out the main character of your series bc she no longer fits the new narrative you’re building?? where is the consistency??? dead like my motivation to keep reading these books
yeah i definitely felt a big shift as I was reading and miss the first few books, cuz i feel like celaena was better?..?? idk and now that there’s so much sex with description it has become uncomfortablel to read b/c i don’t really care for sex in books or in general.
I have so many odd books, like first in a series or series I didn’t finish, and I’d LOVE to donate them, but i’m so like.......attached to all my books, even if I didn’t like them??? tf? the fact that some of them were gifted to me, or that I spent my own money on them, it makes me sad to think about giving them away??
I gave up on the Throne of Glass series a couple years ago (for many reasons) so i’m not going to read Kingdom of Ash but I still have some investment in what happens so can anyone tell me like......what happens. I just wanna know who dies, really.
